If you had to name a brother to Margot, which name would you choose? Looking for inspiration (hypothetical) so any and all suggestions welcome!

August - but I’m worried the two T endings look a little weird when the two names are written down (I’m probably over-analyzing though because sound-wise they’re great together)

I think [name_u]August[/name_u] would also work since the T in [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is not pronounced, only written down. But it’s up to you to decide whether it bothers you: you may find it would irritate you if you were to have a third child whose name did not end in T.

Also [name_u]Julian[/name_u]! however, I’m obsessed with the show BBC Ghosts and the character [name_u]Julian[/name_u] had a wife called [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but I don’t think that’s too relevant or going to leap to people’s minds because otherwise it’s perfect

If I had to pick only one of these names it would be [name_u]August[/name_u]. [name_u]August[/name_u] has the middle G and ends in a T so it feels very symmetrical without being matchy in sound. I also adore [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] / [name_m]Auggie[/name_m]

asa, julian & august are great with margot! i don’t think asa is too short (they both have two syllables so they sound great to me!) and the repeated t end in august & margot could maybe be a problem if you want to name a third kid but the t in margot is not pronounced so they also sound great together
