If you had to name a child with another berry!

I found this old thread here asking if you had to name a kid with another berry what berry you would choose (based on similar styles, etc,) which I thought was intriguing, so I decided to ask the question again! (cause I don’t want to revive a thread from like two years ago but I also want to revive a thread from two years ago haha) So, if you were naming a child with another berry, who would you choose?

What a great idea! I wonder who could’ve come up with that…:joy: Seriously though, thanks for bringing the discussion back to life! I always thought it was a fun one!

I would pick @rubylark! [name_u]Marian[/name_u] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] would be my top picks from her list, but I also would be down for [name_u]Anne[/name_u], [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Helen[/name_f], [name_f]Mira[/name_f], [name_m]Irving[/name_m], [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m], or [name_m]Philip[/name_m]! Lots of great options to choose from!

Honorable mentions to @ellerbea and @lilyofthevale! I think it would be very easy to find a name we both love! :two_hearts:

Oops, totally forgot to credit you. :see_no_evil: Credit to @may.rose for the original idea, y’all!

Fun question! I think I’d pick @camellia1, @winterlyricalfox, or @drfox! I feel like I have similar name taste to any of those three so it wouldn’t be too difficult to find a name we both loved

I think @clair.de.lune and I could find a name to agree on very easily!

@marigold.solstice We have such a similar taste in names, it would have to be you! I think we’d choose an [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables name for either first or middle, or just generally use the shared names we like. I’d also love to name a child with @may.rose as we both have very similar taste! Either way, the child would have an amazing name

I think @Larryisalittledog and I would have a great time naming a kiddo together. Something spunky and sweet. :relaxed:

This makes me really happy! You would definitely be my pick as well; we love so many similar names. Plus, the compromise nursery babies have been awesome to name with you.

Absolutely agree! We have a ton of overlap so it honestly might be hard to name just one!

Also have to mention @dandy_orchid :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: we’d have a pretty easy go of it as well with very similar styles!

I’d love to name a child with @SimiNova , we have similar appreciation for multicultural, meaningful names! I’d also pick @mellona for that reason :relaxed:

I think mine would be @snowmaiden from our ‘Compromise’ babies but I’ve done it with a lot of people & honestly, i don’t know off the top of my head .

Oh, I don’t mind at all! It wasn’t my magnum opus or anything

Several berries come to mind!
I think @snowmaiden and I would be able to come up with something very cosy and classic. We generally share the style of classic and timeless names, so I’m sure we’d agree on a name for a little relatively quickly.

@Elle1 and I don’t necessarily have the same type of naming style, however, I think her names are just amazing!

@TheNightingale is a berry who has used and/or loves some of the names on my lists, that I don’t think I’d be brave enough to use if I were to only name a child by myself. I feel like we’d really have fun with the whole process. I often think that if I ever had to name a child alone I’d probably pick something “boring” (specifically [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] or Eleanor), but if I was naming a kid with someone who likes more out-there names I’d be likely to use ones that are adventurous (I love [name_u]Frost[/name_u], as well as [name_u]Finch[/name_u], [name_u]Solstice[/name_u], [name_m]Azriel[/name_m], [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_m]Leif[/name_m], [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_m]Hart[/name_m], etc), so I think the naming process would be very fun!

@drfox and I have named 2 (I think?) kids on the compromise thread, and I really do enjoy their names (Cassian [name_u]Sorrel[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] Pearl), so I’m sure we’d be able to come up with something that suits both of our tastes again!

@kasatka and I have a quite similar style! I think there would be many stunning names to chose from with both our lists combined :)

@auroracallista @seabreezebreezy @sofiegee & @lateaugust I love your naming styles, you all have such beautiful combos and names on your lists

@amalfi @siminova & @daisymeadows also share my appreciation for multicultural names!

Yes!!! I completely agree with this, Hannah!! :heartpulse:

I’m not sure where the rest of my post went but I also tagged @marigold.solstice and @may.rose, whose names I forever admire and @snowmaiden, who I’m sure we’d find something Alcott-esque to agree upon.
