If you had to name your kids after your favourite fictional characters, which names would you pick?
You can choose up to five names and you can make combos if you want, but the middle name doesn’t have to be a character name! You can choose to reveal which characters they’re after or you can let us keep guessing
Bonus: Would you actually consider using a fictional character’s name on your list or on an actual child?
If you're interested, mine would currently be...
Ginevra Scarlett (Ginevra Fanshawe from Villette by Charlotte Bronte)
Julian Oscar (from BBC Ghosts, unfortunately)
Henry Forrest (Henry Clerval from Frankenstein)
Amy Valentine (Amy March from Little Women)
Isabella Juno (Isabella Linton from Wuthering Heights)
I would definitely consider Ginevra and maybe Amy or Julian (though not after the character…) but Henry and Isabella are a bit popular for me and I’d reserve them for middles!
I’d name my children after fictional characters in a heartbeat! Likely more as middles, as they’re more honor-ish names too, but I love to many names from classic literature.

[name_m]Bastian[/name_m] - The Never Ending [name_u]Story[/name_u] movie and book (inspired the name of my son Bastien)
[name_m]Matthias[/name_m] - tv show Redwall (definitely willing to use it for real)

[name_f]My[/name_f] daughter and second son’s middle name are both after fictional characters from my favorite show growing up (Stargate SG-1), and it makes me happy every time I say them still. Their middles are [name_f]Vala[/name_f] and [name_u]Cameron[/name_u].
For a fourth baby, I have also considered:
[name_m]Digory[/name_m] (Chronicles of Narnia)
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (Chronicles of Narnia)
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] (Supernatural)
[name_m]Beowulf[/name_m] (Beowulf)
Alastair/Alistair (Dragon Age: Origins)
Boys are so much easier for me, I always struggle with girls’ names.
