  • Annalise Iris (Only if nn is not Anna or Lise/Lisa, are there other options?) : 31 (28%)
  • Carina Grace nn Cara : 20 (18%)
  • Carina Iris nn Cara : 21 (19%)
  • Celia Grace nn Cee : 12 (11%)
  • Celia Iris nn Cece: 25 (23%)

[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] would be my #1 pick, but I also really like [name_f]Carina[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f].

Funny, those are my top two contenders as well. But I wanted to be fair and put hubby’s preferences in there too.

[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] / [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are beautiful with [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. If you spell [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] with the traditional [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] spelling, you could use the nickname [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Nell[/name_f].

I think Annelisegoes best with [name_f]Viviana[/name_f], but I do like all your choices!

[name_f]Annalise[/name_f] could go by [name_f]Ann[/name_f]/[name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], or [name_f]Alise[/name_f]/[name_f]Elise[/name_f], and [name_f]Lissie[/name_f] would work as well.

Thanks ladies! I hadn’t considered all those nickname possibilities, I’m glad I asked you guys! I will have to share these with hubby in the morning!

I like [name_f]Celia[/name_f] the best. And I love [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], then your girls will both have a flower middle  Is a cute connection.

I like how [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] sound with [name_f]Vivianna[/name_f] more than I like how [name_f]Celia[/name_f] does. For [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] what bout nick names [name_f]Anya[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_u]Lessie[/name_u]?

I love love love [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], and I think it sounds perfect with [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

Nickname option could be:
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
[name_f]Lina[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Ani[/name_f] (I love this!)

I really like [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]. I’d choose [name_f]Annie[/name_f] but I suspect you don’t like that since you don’t like [name_f]Ann[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

Some other options I feel like you could squeeze out of it:
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_u]Ali[/name_u]
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f]
Lissy
Lisy (struggling with spelling of this one but I think you should like it since I’m pronouncing it to rhyme with [name_f]CeCe[/name_f])
[name_f]Nala[/name_f] (bit too lioness?)
[name_f]Lia[/name_f]/[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_f]Nia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nel[/name_f]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps! Good luck!

[name_f]Carina[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is gorgeous.

Thank you all for the wonderful help! I really appreciate it! Lots to think about!

My favorite off of your list is [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. Would you consider [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] then you would get [name_f]Celia[/name_f] and [name_f]Cece[/name_f] as nickname options but I feel that it matches a bit better with big sister [name_f]Viviana[/name_f].

I adore [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] with [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! [name_f]Celia[/name_f] gives me just that “warm” and feminine feeling you are looking for  [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] by the way.

I know a couple who calls their [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] “[name_f]Liesel[/name_f].” Like the eldest daughter in “The Sound of [name_f]Music[/name_f].”

Also, I want to “second” the suggestion of [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]. That’s really gorgeous next to [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] and it does still give you all the same nn options.

I voted for [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] because I like the flower-middles for both girls, and I also voted for [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] because I think [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] and [name_f]Liesel[/name_f] would be pretty charming.

Not to muddy the waters, but have you considered [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]? It has a cool meaning, could stand up next to [name_f]Viviana[/name_f], and has tons of nn options like [name_f]Anya[/name_f], [name_u]Zia[/name_u], [name_u]Stacy[/name_u], [name_f]Stasia[/name_f]…

I like the sound of [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], but I can’t get past the meaning “blind”. I just couldn’t name my child after “blind”. [name_f]Celia[/name_f] is a little less formal sounding, but I like the meaning “heavenly” a lot better. Thanks for the thought though!

Thank you so much! I feel mostly torn between [name_f]Celia[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] but I think I’m leaning toward [name_f]Celia[/name_f].

I like the sound of [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], but I can’t get past the meaning “blind”. I just couldn’t name my child after “blind” it feels wrong. [name_f]Celia[/name_f] is a little less formal sounding, but I like the meaning “heavenly” a lot better. I’m hoping with such a similar sound I can still use [name_f]Cece[/name_f] as a nickname. Thank you for your input though!

Of course you can still use [name_f]Cece[/name_f] as a nn with [name_f]Celia[/name_f]! I confess I voted twice. [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. The meaning of [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] would be very beautiful, [name_f]Heavenly[/name_f] [name_f]Rainbow[/name_f].
