If you met a child named [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Dante[/name] or got an application with that name? What do you think he would be like? What if he was named [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]?
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] sounds “old school cool.” [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Dante[/name] sounds a bit strange, like a quirky comedian. I don’t think it flows well.
I love [name]Dante[/name] as as middle name! It’s artistic and unusual (for me)
But I think normally people don’t use their middle names except on forms, and would not introduce themselves with their middle name, so I think you can go with either name! I like [name]Gregory[/name] too (clunky but cool) and the three syllables contrast well with [name]Isaac[/name].
Thanks. My mom’s concern with [name]Dante[/name] is since its what people see on school forms and job applications is that people will think a) that he’s a trouble maker or b) he’s Italian. My mom does part of the application process at her work and weeding people out based on names is a big thing for them.
However b is pretty much moot considering that my SO 1/2 Italian so any child of ours would be 1/4.
I love the name [name]ISaac[/name] and think it would belong to a lovely boy who is a bit of a joker but a gentleman also. Paired with [name]Dante[/name] I would also add creative, artistic and adventurous to the characteristics, whereas paired with [name]Gregory[/name] I see a more reserved child, shy maybe, with classic values.
I prefer [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name], I think it just works better, and the 2-3 syllable count sounds better than the 2-2 of [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Dante[/name]. Is there any other Italian names that your Mom doesn’t think sound like a trouble maker? Maybe: [name]Matteo[/name], [name]Valentino[/name], [name]Sansone[/name].
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Dante[/name], I like it! I imagine a very handsome man in a velvet blazer with flaxen curly hair and horn rimmed glasses. I would definitely think he’s be smart, very intellectual and well read. Serious, dry sense of humour.
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] on the other hand sounds like a grandfather name.
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Dante[/name] sounds quite theatrical to me. I like it. Not too sure about [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]. I picture someone who is probably studious.
I immediately think of a Latin Lover style young man. Dark curly hair, dark eyes, and a big smile!
I would think “oh, his parent’s have nice taste”.
I like [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] better, just because I am not so sure about [name]Dante[/name], but if that is your first choice it has a nice flow.
I like [name]Dante[/name].
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Dante[/name] sounds like a stage name, [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name], on the other hand, is gorgeous. I love it!
Thanks. The middle name is up to SO because he really loves [name]Dante[/name] but wants to call him [name]Iggy[/name] which he can only get with a “G” name.
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Gregory[/name] [name]Baker[/name] sounds better to me than [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Dante[/name] [name]Baker[/name] but I wouldn’t be using his full name on a daily basis so I’m okay with the flow being off since SO has a special attachment to it.
