and you could name your children ANY obscure name you’d ever dreamed of, what would you name them? Or, if you just like obscure ones, you can say those too
I don’t think so either. I love the names we have on our lists and he’s okay with the stranger names I like, so it’s so big deal. A lot of our middles names are word names and such
Not sure how or why being a superstar celeb would/should change my naming choices.
I think I’d still stick with [name]Aurora[/name] Vaea and [name]Prosper[/name] Tevare.
I agree with some of the PPs, it wouldn’t change. [name]Even[/name] if I was a celebrity, I would still want my children to have a normal name. I’m happy using the names that are on my list–that wouldn’t change, no matter how much I was in the news or how many zeroes were on my paycheck. Although I might weed out some of the trendier ones, like [name]Brody[/name]. Then again, I really, really love [name]Brody[/name] so I’m not sure I could ever get rid of that! But yes, if I was a celebrity, my kids would still be [name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Arianne[/name], [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Asher[/name], [name]Jack[/name], etc!
Yeah I probably would go a bit more wild with the names if I was extremely wealthy like celebs tend to be because I’d know the social group my kids would be raised in they wouldn’t be mocked for their outrageous names.
I’d be more inclined to use names like: [name]Amaryllis[/name], [name]Domino[/name], Lucidity, Godric, [name]Lucius[/name], [name]Nicodemus[/name], [name]Forrest[/name], [name]Alastair[/name], etc.
Celebrity or not, you CAN name your children “ANY obscure name you’d ever dreamed of”…that’s the beauty of having your own kids! I don’t think celebrities go name crazy just because they’re celebrities. You’re just hearing about it because they’re celebrities. A lot of celebrity children get average, ordinary names…and the incidence of crazy names is probably the same as in the general population. Collectively as a society, we should stop elevating celebrities, as though they’re not normal people like the rest of us (though some may have more money). My son is in the biz, a child actor, and we’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of celebrities…and they’re really not much different from everyone else. Like all of us, they give their children names that are meaningful to them. As artists, however, some may have more artistic sensibilities, and like any artist, might veer toward more creative choices. I would pick the exact same names for my kids whether celebrity or not. I don’t think anyone should hold back on any name they love just because of their status, or lack thereof…they’re your kids, after all!
I’d probably name a girl [name]Sara[/name] [name]Louise[/name]. So that way, even though she’s one of many Saras, she’s the famous person’s daughter [name]Sara[/name]. I just really like that name.
And for a boy it’d be the same as if I wasn’t famous. [name]River[/name] [name]William[/name] or [name]Micah[/name] [name]Andrew[/name].
Georgia[/name]]While pregnant with the twins, [name]Georgia[/name] & [name]Eleanor[/name], I was so tempted to go with a greek mythological theme. So, to live out that ‘dream’ I would have to convince my husband constantly to agree on the theme.
For a girl I would name her, Delphinium [name]Athene[/name]
For a boy I would name him, [name]Emile[/name] [name]Neptune[/name]
