If you were to use the name ‘[name]Tula[/name]’ as a middle name, what would you use as a fn? My dh loves the name [name]Tula[/name], he would love to use it as a fn, but I want to use it as mn. Please list any ideas that come to mind!
[name]Catherine[/name] [name]Tula[/name]

[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Tula[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Tula[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tula[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Tula[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Tula[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Tula[/name] (although I think of roses and tulips, which isn’t a bad thing)
[name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Tula[/name]
[name]Just[/name] going to add that [name]Tula[/name] could be used as a nickname for [name]Tallulah[/name] or [name]Petunia[/name]. [name]Don[/name]'t know if either of those are your style though…
Wow, this is the first time I’ve ever seen [name]Tula[/name] before here! I actually have a neighbor with a dog named [name]Tula[/name] (her name was [name]Tulip[/name] when she was rescued but the neighbor already had a dog named [name]Lilly[/name] and didn’t want two flower names…)! Very nice choice!
If I remember correctly, this is the first name of the main character in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, and was short for Fortula. Fortula means “light of God” in greek. I think it’s gorgeous!
I think [name]Tula[/name] is very pretty, and is especially nice as a mn. It has a sound which would go at least reasonably well with a large number of names, in my opinion.
I think it would be especially nice with a very classic, traditional, multi-syllabic name (I adore [name]Jill[/name]'s suggestion of [name]Penelope[/name]). Could you give us some further indication of your style so that we could pick some names that you might love? Would you like to honour a particular person or nationality? Are you interested in names from literature and/or mythology? Would you prefer to stay away from popular names?
