Ignatius v Jude? Trouble deciding...

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries!

I’m having a difficult time deciding between two names for my (future) first-born son: [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] have meaning to me and my boyfriend. I know we could use them both, but deciding the order would depend on the sibling sets…

So, what kinds of names would you see as siblings for a boy named [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] and a boy named [name_u]Jude[/name_u]? I appreciate your thoughts in advance! [name_u]Jude[/name_u] would be called by his first name, and [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] would be called [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] and/or [name_m]Nate[/name_m].

Kind wishes!

I prefer [name_u]Jude[/name_u] because it’s still a bit more “stand out” while not being as out there as [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m].

I think both [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] work together as siblings.

[name_u]Jude[/name_u] is one of my favourites but [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] is really cool! Maybe wait until he is born? [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] or [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] would work as a combo!

I love [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and agree it’s less ‘out there’. But I also like [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] a lot, and think [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] or [name_m]Nate[/name_m] make it it totally approachable. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are great, but I think [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] nn [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] or [name_m]Nate[/name_m] is fantastic.

[name_m]Ignatius[/name_m], nn: [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] is adorable :).
