I really like the nickname [name_u]Nat[/name_u] for a boy and [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] is a name that has been on and off my list for years but I am crushing on it again. Bonus is that I’d be able to use the nickname [name_u]Nat[/name_u].
What do you think?
Siblings would be Senia, [name_f]Apolline[/name_f], Theoden and Hesperia.
I’m so happy you all like it! My husband is iffy on it, he likes it but thinks people might not be able to pronounce it. People can’t pronounce our kids names already so I’m not sure why he’s stuck on that fact, lol. Hopefully I’ll be able to convince him on it!!
Get the children’s book “[name_m]Iggy[/name_m] Peck, Architect”. His full name is [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m]. I think it works perfect for your family. I’m not a huge fan, but honestly, I was trying to convince my husband on this name so we could get to [name_m]Iggy[/name_m]. I’ve always loved the nickname, but there doesn’t seem to be another path to it.
In my opinion, [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] easier to pronounce than the names of your other children (Is Senia se-NAY-a? [name_f]SEN[/name_f]-ee-a?). Many people, near me at least, know how to pronounce [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m] because of the Jesuit priest (Jesuit high schools and universities are EVERYWHERE).
I love [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m], and [name_u]Nat[/name_u]! Awesome meaning too. [name_m]Iggy[/name_m], [name_m]Nash[/name_m], [name_m]Nate[/name_m] and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] are some other cool nickname options.
