If any of you remember I used to love the name [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]. I’m starting to love it again. Is [name]Ivy[/name] getting too popular? What do you think of the combo?

In 2008 1,106 girls were named [name]Ivy[/name] in the United states, that’s about 24 per state! So I definitely do not think it’s too popular! It’s SUCH a great name! It’s cute and spunky for a little girl, cool for a teenager, and grown-up and professional for a woman… I really think it’s one of the best names out there. Plus it’s unique without being unheard of or weird. I love it. It has raised almost 100 ranks in the last 5 years, though… so it’s on the rise, but I don’t think it’s moving too fast. It’s always been in the ranking but I think the highest it ever got was 264, to me that makes it a classic.
[name]Love[/name] the combination of [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]! Go for it!
When I think of ivy I think of ‘clinging ivy’ which is exactly what the vine does as it creeps and winds its way up buildings.
I find the ‘clinging’ part particularly bothersome as it sounds like a weak person who needs to cling to others for strength.
[name]Ivy[/name] does not have any spunk at all imo.
I would substitute it with the stand out [name]Isla[/name].
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is our #1 girl’s name right now! I love it!
I love [name]Ivy[/name]!-- I think it’s gorgeous and slightly less popular than the quickly-rising [name]Isla[/name]. However, because it has such a similar sound to [name]Isla[/name], it probably will be becoming more popular too. [name]Just[/name] something to keep in mind! 
I love [name]Ivy[/name]…I think it is adorable and refreshing…not too popular.
Personally, I’m not a fan.
The sound of it isn’t very euphonious.
All I think of is Posion [name]Ivy[/name], and rashes and I get all itchy just hearing it. 
But [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] is pretty together.
