I was recently looking through Apartment Therapy, and found a nursery for a little girl named [name_f]Heidi[/name_f], and I was drawn to the name. I love the name when paired with my perpetual favorite, [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], but I’m not sure if it really “fits” with the our other favorites: [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m] Er ich, [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m].
I think [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] fits more with our list; a traditional first with a middle that’s slightly different (sans [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] of course). My boyfriend, on the other hand, prefers [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. My questions for you guys are:
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]?
Does [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] work with the other names on our list?
I prefer the flow of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] but [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is very sweet too. I think it works fine with your other names.
I think [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] is a pretty versatile name. I think it could fit in nicely with your other choices, and I love the sound of [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] for flow, but [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] is nice too and [name_f]IMO[/name_f] would fit better with your other favourites.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I’m glad you think [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] fits with the rest. I prefer [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] as a name, but my boyfriend is really loving [name_f]Heidi[/name_f], so it’s nice to know that it would blend in if we decided to go that way.
I’ve actually tried [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelheid[/name_f] on him before, but he thinks the [name_m]Ad[/name_m]- names sound like a dairy product, so I have to let them go, even though I love them so much.
