I’m considering the name [name]Sage[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] for a boy and [name]Aura[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] for a girl. I would love to know what you all think.
The way [name]Sage[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] flows is really nice. But for some reason, the name [name]Sage[/name] just seems so feminine to me.
Here are some names that remind me of [name]Sage[/name], that seem much more masculine:
[name]Gage[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Sawyer[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Sven[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Shane[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Spencer[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Seth[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Sloan[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Smythe[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Aura[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] is a really pretty name. Again, it has a really nice flow. I do however, prefer the name [name]Aurora[/name] to [name]Aura[/name]. [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] seems much more complete to me!
[name]Hope[/name] this helps!
To be honest I’ve only ever known girls named [name]Sage[/name]. [name]Aura[/name] is okay, but like th previous poster said [name]Aurora[/name] with the nn [name]Aura[/name] would be better.
[name]Sage[/name] is listed here as a male name as well, though I agree it sounds feminine. If that doesn’t bother you, the pair is quite appealing.
Two Maxs? Does the name have special significance to you?
[name]Max[/name] is a guilty pleasure of mines.
I love [name]Sage[/name]! I’m one of the few posters here that supports unisex names for boys, so I say go for it! [name]Sage[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] flows beautifully too!
[name]Aura[/name] is actually quite pretty too. I wasn’t sure what I thought of it at first, but it’s immediately started growing on me. I think it has a more succinct feminine beauty than the more flowery [name]Aurora[/name]. Thumbs up!
I’m not personally a fan of [name]Maxine[/name], but if you love it by all means use it. I definitely recommend using only one [name]Max[/name]- name for your children, although right now I assume middle name options would be different for a second child?
Good luck to you!
Thanks!
I love [name]Sage[/name] for a boy and [name]Sage[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] sounds very handsome, not so fond of [name]Aura[/name] [name]Maxine[/name], not a bad name though, just not my taste I guess
[name]Sage[/name] is awesome! I have never heard it before and the first impression it gave me was masculine.
[name]Sage[/name] [name]Maxine[/name] is nice.
Ditto! ![]()
I know of a few boys names [name]Sage[/name], but I have to admit that it does feel more feminine than masculine to me for some reason. Hmm…I do think that [name]Sage[/name] is a nice name, though (I love how peaceful it is), and I really, really, really love [name]Maxwell[/name]! I think it’s so handsome!
I love [name]Maxine[/name] in the middle, too! [name]Aura[/name] sounds pretty to me, but I thought I’d mention that people who get bad migraines experience migraine auras (I have a friend who experiences this). I thought I’d mention the aura/migraine association just in case!
Good luck!
