Wish I could sell my DH on it, he says all he hears is ‘[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]’. I tried to sell him on the [name_m]Findlay[/name_m] spelling and I can tell he doesn’t hate it but doesn’t love it either. [name_m]Just[/name_m] texted him this combo and hope it helps him to like it!!
He is set on [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. I love he nicknames [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] and [name_m]Vero[/name_m] with big brother [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] "[name_u]Jem[/name_u]’ but [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] seems a little bland to me.
Omgoodness, [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is adorable! I adore [name_u]Finley[/name_u]/[name_u]Finlay[/name_u] (I waffle back and forth on the pronunciation, myself). I would love to meet a little [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I like it much better than [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], which hasn’t ever really been to my liking (unfortunately. I love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], and Olivie!).
Thanks!! He still says he doesn’t like [name_u]Finlay[/name_u], but I got him to say ‘I’ll think about it’ and not completely veto it. He thinks [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] sounds good too, but just isn’t sure about [name_u]Finlay[/name_u].
If I stick to my guns on it he may agree eventually. But sticking to my guns is hard… I have such wishy washy tastes sometimes haha
I think [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is very handsome, but if DH hears “[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]”, maybe he’d prefer [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m], or [name_m]Finnick[/name_m] instead? I actually think [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] and [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] would be adorable as brothers!
Also, what about [name_m]Tolliver[/name_m] or Olivander instead of [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], if it feels too plain to you? You could still get the NN [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] (or [name_m]Tollie[/name_m]) and [name_m]Vero[/name_m] out of either one. They’re a little more out there but not too far I think.
