The problem is that my last husband ([name]Carlo[/name]) was Italian, and we decided to end our three children with -o: [name]Rocco[/name], [name]Marco[/name] and [name]Juno[/name]. My current husband ([name]Jacob[/name]) and I really like the name [name]Ellis[/name], but would it sound too odd with -o ending names? WDYT?
I think it is a okay to not have a name that end in o. Are you planning on having more children? If so I wouldnt feel pressured at all to carry on the theme.
Incase you decide to go with an o name I would suggest [name]Leo[/name] or [name]Milo[/name].
I’m hoping for more children… I never even thought of -o names yet! Thank you for getting me started! [name]Jacob[/name] really likes [name]Ellis[/name] because his grandfather’s surname was [name]Ellison[/name], but he respects the -o names, too. He’s on the fence as well! But I will definentley take your advice, and thank you again! -[name]Lexi[/name]

I think if you are planning on more children then it might be a good idea to end the o theme. Afterall, 5 o names might be a bit much. If [name]Ellis[/name] had a brother or sister with a name that didnt end in a o then there would be no problem in breaking the theme. I love the reason behind the name [name]Ellis[/name] also.

Thank you! After sharing these posts with [name]Jake[/name], we’re really leaning away from -o ending names. I want to honor my father-in-law with [name]Ellis[/name], and also, my sister said another -o name could bring back thoughts of [name]Carlo[/name]…
I don’t want that, again! Thank for your input, it is much appreciated.-[name]Lexi[/name]
I want to! We’re still fuzzy about having more kids after baby boy 3, but if we do, it probably won’t be an -o ending! Thank you for your input! [name]Jake[/name] and I are thankful!-[name]Lexi[/name]
I love, love, [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Ellis[/name]. It’s so handsome.
I was born to a different father than my brothers. I ended up being an [name]Alexandra[/name], while my step father (who is extremely Italian) and mother named my brothers, [name]Antonio[/name] and [name]Vincenzo[/name] (plus, their middle names end in O as well!). I never felt left out.
