I’ve given up on trying to convince anyone of [name]Magnus[/name]. :frowning:

My compromise is [name]Robert[/name], nn [name]Rob[/name]! It’s my dad’s middle name and it was my second choice. But with such a common/usual name, I want something completely different for a mn obviously. I’ve been thinking [name]Robert[/name] [name]Mitchell[/name], since I love [name]Mitchell[/name] so much, but I get that surname trendy vibe and I don’t really like that aspect of it. Any new suggestions? :slight_smile: I’m not into fancy pants names so none of those.

[name]Robert[/name] is handsome! It’s my dad’s MN, too, haha. [name]Rob[/name]/[name]Robbie[/name] is really cute.

For some reason [name]Robert[/name] [name]Mitchell[/name] reminded me of the guy who wrote the [name]Bourne[/name] trilogy… obviously it’s not him (who is [name]Robert[/name] Ludlum, apparently), but I was instantly struck by the name. I’m not sure what else it reminds me of, lol. There’s also [name]Robert[/name] Mitchum, and apparently a [name]Robert[/name] [name]Mitchell[/name] was charged with kidnapping, according to a cursory google search, lol.

I always used to like [name]Robert[/name] [name]Landon[/name]–it’s not really my style anymore, but I do think it’s nice.

[name]Do[/name] you have any idea what sort of MN you’re looking for? I think [name]Robert[/name] [name]Magnus[/name] would be incredibly cool, actually… [name]Robert[/name] [name]Leo[/name] would be nice, too. I remember seeing that you used to love [name]Leon[/name]… [name]Robert[/name] [name]Leon[/name] would be cool, too, if you could convince your family.

Aha! See? [name]Mitchell[/name] is really surname-y lol you know, I think I love [name]Robert[/name] [name]Henry[/name]! [name]Henry[/name] is my pawpaw’s name, and apparently it’s seen a real rise in popularity. I haven’t really got a clue as to what I’m wanting for in a mn, but [name]Henry[/name], [name]Leon[/name], and [name]Nicholas[/name] seem to cut it!

If I can get away with [name]Magnus[/name], you better believe I will. :slight_smile: I’m willing to use it as a mn, although I’d rather have it as a fn.
