A good friend of mine I’ve known since elementary school sent me these pictures of her daughter, [name]Adalyn[/name], and she is SOOO adorable. [name]Adalyn[/name]'s hair seems to be the center of attention when everyone meets her…you’ll see why. I just had to share these pictures. I thought [name]Aggie[/name] had a lot of hair at birth and I’m hoping her’s grows as fast as [name]Adalyn[/name]'s. I feel as if [name]Adalyn[/name] has better hair than myself, haha! [name]Hope[/name] you enjoy the pictures!
She really does have a ton of hair! [name]Lucky[/name] her. My cousin’s daughters are now 4 and 2 and still have very thin baby hair. My children all have semi thick black-brown hair, but not nearly as thick as mine, because of my husband. She’ll have a lot to work with! So cute.
My niece and nephew were exactly like that…we say my niece ([name]Adeline[/name]…must be the name ) was born with “70’s gameshow host hair”, a nice black toupee, ha. Her brother came out with a “faux hawk”, it just combed that way from the time he was wee. All of mine have been bald or near bald. Blaming that on my husband’s side…pictures of him starting preschool look like Caillou. However, once it did come in, very curly and thick (but now at 33…lol). Like his, once my kids have all had their hair come in, all 4 have had ringlet or near ringlet curls…It’s beautiful hair that everyone comments on. Especially since the oldest wears his long, its more wavy now but still has lots of body. My hair is very thin (always has been) and boring, nothing like all of them so thankyou DH for those genetics. Funny the differences, both boys are blonds, B is brunette and Vio is a near redhead. Very excited to see what happens with this baby. But all this to say it totally makes up for the baldness (and very apparent cradle cap that kept happening and was easy to spot, yikes!) of them as wee ones.
I have semi-thick and uber curly hair that’s an auburn color and it’s down the middle of my back. My husband has what I call ‘Surfer hair’, the bleach blonde, very thick, and curly shoulder length (yes, it’s all natural & he always jacks my shampoo/conditioner! :()…it’s like he just walked out of the ocean from a good wave everyday! [name]Georgia[/name] & [name]Eleanor[/name] both have thin, fine curly ringlets of auburn that is shoulder length. [name]Beatrix[/name] on the other hand has bleach hair that’s stick straight and so thick that I have to use about half a bottle of conditioner on her hair to keep it from getting dried out. [name]Agnes[/name] has black hair that’s straight but is still taking it’s form! We shall see… [name]Agnes[/name] is the only baby that has had a head full of hair when born, so that shocked me. What all 4 have in common is green eyes, which goes lovely with their blushed skin & hair colors. Though, their personalities is totally different. I have 3 [name]Diva[/name]'s and one in the making. My husband and I have spoiled them rotten, guilty! Haha!
[name]Emily[/name], your husband’s hair sounds exactly like my [name]Sebastian[/name]'s right now. At the pool this summer he would wear his rash guard and my friends would comment on how he “looks like a surfer”. Except its a struggle to get him to wash it every other day (must admit, it looks nice no matter what)…and he only uses conditioner if I remind him, lol. The girls are starting to notice him, thankfully for now he is clueless (at the grocery store the other day…"Why was that girl smiling at me? I dont even know her!)I know as a teen I would have loved a guy with that hair! (Of course I am also biased being that I think he is extremly handsome of course)
She’s absolutely beautiful, what a little cherub! Does your friend know you posted the photos here? I hope you don’t think I’m rude, just asking because if it were my child I’d want to know if one of my friends posted their picture on the internet.
Her hair is simply stunning! My father always jokes that I had quite a big head and very little hair when I was little, and that my head looked like an [name]Easter[/name] egg, lol!
Oh my, [name]Adalyn[/name] is beautiful and her curls are just precious. She also has the cutest cheeks.
I was bald or at least didn’t have very much hair as a baby. Apparently my mom would have to put dresses on me because people thought I was a boy because of my lack of hair. Ouch? Ha! But I have quite the head of hair now, long and very thick, so I guess it all worked out in the end.
[name]Grace[/name], yes she does! No it’s totally ok, I get where you’re coming from. She actually used this site to find [name]Adalyn[/name]'s name. So yeah, I’m trying to get her to make an account! By the way, I love your profile picture- I have some pumps that look exactly like that, I wore them on my wedding day. Yes, I am out of the ordinary.
[name]Adalyn[/name] is 6 1/2 months old. I call her my little [name]Chia[/name].
My husband only swears by Aussie- he is infatuated with it! [name]Sebastian[/name] sounds like a surfer in training? That’s so cute, I could just picture him saying that…haha!
I’m a sucker for people with good hair- I should have been a cosmetologist…
She’s gorgeous! I hope my baby will have hair like that, I had tons of hair when I was little, and it’s still really thick & long. my boyfriend has lots of hair too, but he’s a blondie.
My nephew was born with a thick, shiny black mohawk!
I had a full head of white hair when I was born so unless you were close to me I looked bald. But since I was about 3 its gotten thicker and way curlier. My fiance apparently looked like a little monk with hair only on the side ifs his head.
My friend [name]Alex[/name] swears on Aussie too. He’s got hair to the middle of his back. Makes it fun to watch him head bang.
My baby was born with a full shock of dark brown hair, the same as my and my sister. I think she looks beautiful, and always has, because of her thick dark hair. However, it does mean that she never really looked like a ‘baby’ - at six months she looked like a toddler. In main, I find it hilarious - there aren’t many people that have had to cut their child’s hair FIVE TIMES by the time they reach their first birthday! I say she looks like one of The Beatles - a real moptop!
My goodness, she is a doll! When I was born I had dark hair, but it all fell out and grew back in blonde. When my sister was born with a head full of dark hair, my mom was worried the same thing would happen to her, but her hair started to curl as it grew, into what my mom affectionately called “hoopdee hoops”.
