I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] make an excellent subset, and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is adorable.
Ahhhh [name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] sound like the sweetest sibset, I love! [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is great in case she wants something a bit more mature sounding when shes older, [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is beautiful!
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]!! ”
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] sounds perfect!

If you use [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and the nickname [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], you might feel your other daughter needs a shortened name. [name_f]Amie[/name_f] or [name_f]Melia[/name_f] would work for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
I like the idea of using a three syllable traditional name then a shorter name, as you did in
naming your first daughter.
My first choice is [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. I think it is the most classic name and matches the style of the siblings’ names. I’m not certain if your other children have honor names in the middle, but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] would be a perfect way to remember Aunt [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. If not, then I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle, because it pairs so well with [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
Another thing to mention that helps tie all these first names with the siblings’ names is the repetition of the letter “L” in the middle of each.
Good luck with your decision
[name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] go really well together! Since you like [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] so much, I would go with [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] (or [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]). [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is perfect!
All of your names are lovely, so whatever you choose will be great. But I wouldn’t worry about syllable count if [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is your favorite. Our last name is three syllables, and my daughter’s first-middle combo is seven. My son’s first-middle combo is five. So my kids have very long names haha. But it’s definitely not a big deal. I personally think they flow better than if I’d given them monosyllabic middles.
I love [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] so much, and you’re right, I don’t want to feel we have to shorten [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]'s name, honestly we thought we’d call her [name_f]Millie[/name_f] but it’s been [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] so far. Wondering if I should drop the [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and just do [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] with my last name is the hang up, I don’t know why but I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] Hegurdee sounds better than [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] Hegurdee. It’s not terrible. I might have asked my husband if we could change our last name…
Honestly all three options sound beautiful! Both [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are my favourites.
