Imaginary Friend Names?

I didn’t really have imaginary friends, but I wanted to :joy:. When my preschool teacher asked, I made some up- they wore purple dresses with yellow numbers on them and they had crazy yellow hair and their names were 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 :joy:. Yeah. I did play a lot of pretend games in which I made up a character that I pretended to be. The closest thing to imaginary friends were these imaginary “fairies” that lived in a tree outside my house that I made up stories about. I didn’t interact with them, though, I just made up stories and tidied their “house”- the roots formed the different rooms of their home.

Mine was [name_m]Herb[/name_m], an elephant that could change sizes (I’d imagine he was huge and standing outside my classroom window when I was bored in school, he could shrink down to the size of a puppy to sit in my lap, or even smaller to fit in my pocket so I could carry him around school.)

A few months later I got scolded more than once for staring out the window and I think I was moved so I couldn’t look out. So I imagined [name_u]Zeke[/name_u], who was a regular sized penguin, to keep [name_m]Herb[/name_m] company. [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] used to ride on [name_m]Herb[/name_m]’s back. I think he had some special power too but I don’t remember what it was, if I ever find my old journal where I drew them I’ll update this lol!

A little more embarrassingly, I used to imagine [name_m]Jake[/name_m] from the show American Dragon: [name_m]Jake[/name_m] [name_m]Long[/name_m] & [name_u]Danny[/name_u] from [name_u]Danny[/name_u] Phantom were my older brothers and they would talk me through any problems I was having. Lol

Don’t worry, you weren’t the only weird kid. I wore the same [name_m]Jack[/name_m] Skellington stocking cap from ages 12-13. I never took it off except to shower or wash it, I even slept with it on. :sob::joy:
