[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all. My husband and I are working hard to agree on a name for our second son. We have fantastically different tastes, so it’s not so easy. He recently suggested Eadon, which I like the sound of. I’m not too sure if I like the (possible) meaning(s) yet, but my question for my fellow berries is, what is your impression of the name Eadon? I imagine it would get confused with “[name_u]Eden[/name_u]” a lot in the States, but I don’t live in the States currently, so that’s not a huge concern. Is it too close to the [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]/[name_m]Jaydon[/name_m]/[name_u]Brayden[/name_u]/[name_u]Haydn[/name_u]/[name_u]Kayden[/name_u] craze? Thanks for your input!
I like it seeing it in print but I have to say that if I heard him called that I would think that he was named [name_u]Eden[/name_u] only because I am familiar with [name_u]Eden[/name_u]. If that isn’t an issue where you live then I wouldn’t hesitate to use it. It would definitely be great in the middle spot. I think it is pronounced differently enough from the Aidens and [name_u]Jayden[/name_u]'s that it doesn’t remind me of those names.
I agree with whitegardenia. I like it in print but automatically think [name_u]Eden[/name_u]!
