[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is our current top pick if we have a third son. Brothers would be [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. My boys want to call him “[name_u]Jules[/name_u]” if we use this name, which I really like. Impressions of [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] nn [name_u]Jules[/name_u]? I haven’t met any boys named [name_m]Julian[/name_m] (or any men that I can think of)…
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] is striking to me, and he sounds especially nice alongside his brothers. I’ve never met one either, but I’d imagine a [name_m]Julian[/name_m] to be a handsome, quiet sort of lad.
I really love [name_m]Julian[/name_m], and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is fab! I think [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m], and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] are fab together. Plus, how awesome is [name_u]Jules[/name_u]?! I think Nameberry is the only place that will support my love of [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] for a girl and [name_u]Jules[/name_u] for a boy.
I would love to meet a little boy with the nn [name_u]Jules[/name_u]. It reminds me of the author [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_u]Verne[/name_u], and though I’ve not read any of his books, I want to! I always get the image of a swashbuckling, dapper hero-in-disguise on a pirate ship.
Think [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] meets [name_m]Captain[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f], haha. And maybe a bit of [name_m]Westley[/name_m] from The [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Bride[/name_f], as well!
Good luck!
I really like [name_m]Julian[/name_m] since its sounds so romantic and I am sucker for [name_m]Leo[/name_m], I always have been so [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] sounds great! [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] sound wonderful I love how all the names end in N and have that ending sound. Good luck!
I really love [name_m]Julian[/name_m], one of our neighbors kids name is [name_m]Julian[/name_m] and he is very cute
I think [name_u]Jules[/name_u] is a great nn for [name_m]Julian[/name_m], actually the only nn for [name_m]Julian[/name_m] I can think of.
Good choice.
Great combo! And [name_m]Julian[/name_m] would fit in very well with his brothers’ names too.
[name_u]Jules[/name_u] is an adorable nickname.
Another vote of approval!
Oh, [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is so dashing! [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] sound perfect together. ([name_u]Jules[/name_u] is adorable, your boys already have excellent naming taste!) Good luck!

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] to me is very hip and very now. It’s also too classic names in one. It’s a classic, but not a timeless name. If I heard the name, I would picture him as a new baby. And I would guess he was born in the last five years. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just an opinion. Yes I have never known anyone with this name. It’s a good choice.
I’m going to have to be the voice of dissent here. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] are contemporary and spunky Celtic surnames. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] is an old, romantic and sophisticated saint name. To me, [name_m]Julian[/name_m] sticks out like a sore thumb. I don’t like having all boys names ending in “n” so I don’t see the appeal. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] has more spunky than [name_m]Julian[/name_m] so [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Julian[/name_m] would make more sense.
I love [name_m]Julian[/name_m] nn [name_u]Jules[/name_u]! [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is just fine. I think this is a very good combo. It’s more on the classic side unlike [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] but it still works.
I agree with this.
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Lennon[/name_m] ([name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Lennon[/name_m]'s son). [name_m]Just[/name_m] something I thought of.
I think [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is a handsome name although I do think it’s a little L heavy. [name_u]Jules[/name_u] is a cute nickname. Good luck!
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is perfection. I love it. [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_u]Jules[/name_u] as a nickname as well.
I, too, love [name_m]Julian[/name_m]. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is a very [name_m]Roman[/name_m] combination! I like that it is a historical sort of name. [name_u]Jules[/name_u] is currently in my list of boy name considerations so I happen to think that is a wonderful nickname
An interesting note is the visual relation of [name_m]Julian[/name_m] to [name_f]July[/name_f], with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] being the astrological sign of part of [name_f]July[/name_f]. It might be in the stars, this name!
Found out this week that we’re expecting #3 in [name_f]May[/name_f], so this question was more timely than I realized
My husband continues to be iffy on [name_m]Julian[/name_m]; he thinks it sounds too soft combined with our last name. He likes [name_u]Jules[/name_u] as a nickname, though, and also likes [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. He also likes [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] ([name_u]Van[/name_u]) and [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] ([name_m]Anders[/name_m]), which I think sound good with our sons’ names, but I’m not sure they sound great with our surname. I’ve always liked [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], but can’t think of any good nicknames for it. He likes [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] and [name_m]Tobin[/name_m], but I’m iffy on those.
So I think we’re likely to go with [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] if it’s another boy, all that said lol
