Impressions of Rose (nn Rosie) and Eliza

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there
I love both of these names and I’m interested to hear other peoples impressions of them
Thanks

They are both lovely! Classic and spunky… and they make a cute sibset!

I love them both! [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is actually very refreshing to me as a first name, since most people use it as a middle. Although I have to admit, [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be a gorgeous combo. They work well as sisters, too. As the previous poster said, they’re both classic and spunky!

I really do love the name [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] isn’t my cup of tea.

I love both! and I think they would be a great pair for sisters! Both are simple and classic without being boring or common. I agree with pp who said [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so refreshing as a first name since it is SOO common as a middle. Both are actually really popular where I live ([name_f]East[/name_f] [name_f]Africa[/name_f]) so my husband has vetoed them, but if I was back in the US, I would see them as fresh and uncommon classics!

Both are strong feeling, classic, and a little spunky too. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is very refreshing as a FN, as others have mentioned. I like its timeless appeal. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] I love way, way more than the longer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. It feels complete in of itself and just right.

They’re both pretty. I have always loved the name [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. When I was a child it sounded so “cool”. I agree that while it was a very common middle name, hearing it as a first name makes it seem quite different. I’ve actually never met anyone with the first name [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] to me sounds like a sweet and quirky young girl. I think it ages well.
