I love the name [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] for girl mostly for the nickname [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]. It’s sweet, but has significance meaning for me only because of my religious background. I knew a woman named [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and I still remember how bubbly she was. What do you think? Is it too silly or can you see on a child and an adult?
Also, could you see it with a potential sibling named [name_u]Winter[/name_u]? Or maybe [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]? Although I love both names on their own. Thanks for the help!!!
I think [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] works well and could be a great name, especially given its significance to you. I think it might be too much to have siblings [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or a middle name combination with the two names. Personally, I think there should be just one month/ day/ season in a sibset and would choose your favourite out of the two.
I don’t think it’s terrible. It’s just not my style. I have a hard time imagining it on a person. I wouldn’t do [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]. Too much calendar.
Conceptually I can see the appeal but I’m not fond of word names so I am not so sure if it is usable because it is hit or miss.
I love the name [name_f]Holiday[/name_f] so I can relate, but I’m just not sure I’d ever have the guts to use it.
If you want to use it go for it! I think [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is too much word name for one child, it can come across as a phrase and not a name. Maybe pair [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] with a classic middle, or give her a classic first name and call her by her middle name [name_f]Sunday[/name_f].
I like both, with a special place for [name_u]Winter[/name_u], but I don’t think they work together at all. My recommendation would be to use one in the first spot (ex. [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]) and then as a sibling use [name_u]Winter[/name_u] as the middle (ex. [name_f]Amira[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]). Or vice versa. (Ex. [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f])
I would only use it in the middle spot. To me it’s not a name that works well unless you’re the offspring of a celeb or the independently wealthy. It’s hard to take serious a name like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f].
Easy like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] morning also comes to mind which could be twisted and made fun of.
I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] a lot and I like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] okay. Not together. [name_m]Way[/name_m] too wordy together.
The only [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] I know is a man. He’s gothic, very pierced and changes his hair color constantly. He’s also very happy and energetic and fun to be around. He doesn’t use a nickname though.
I’m confused. Are you saying that you love the significance name [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] have for you or you don’t like you can only relate to this name through your religion and would love name has more significance, other than religious one?
I like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], but love [name_u]Winter[/name_u] more. Maybe as a sibset is nice.
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f] can be used, in my opinion, but not with [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. It sounds a bit like a calendar, though it flows nicely. [name_m]How[/name_m] about:
I understand the appeal of both names, even though they’re not my style. I would not recommend using them together (as first and middle names OR as a sibset). It’s just a little too “calendar”, you know? I think someone else suggested something like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] _____ and _____ [name_u]Winter[/name_u] (or vise versa), and [name_f]IMO[/name_f] that’s probably the only way you could get away with using both. Otherwise, I think it would be a little too over-the-top.
