In honor of Grandpa

If I ever have kids I would like to honor both of my grandfathers with either a first or middle name for a little one. However, for various reasons I wouldn’t be able to use their exact names. I’d love some help thinking of variations!

[name_m]Both[/name_m] of my grandfathers were named [name_m]Enrique[/name_m].

I know a little boy named [name_m]Rico[/name_m], which might interest you.

[name_m]Kenrick[/name_m] / [name_m]Kenrik[/name_m]

[name_f]Enna[/name_f] / [name_f]Ennya[/name_f]

Any [name_m]Henry[/name_m] variant would work. Here’s a list:

Henry, Harry, Enzo, Emery, Emeric, Hendry, Hendrick, Harriet, Henrietta, Enrica, Enriqueta, Harrison, Harris, Hendry, Hendrix, and all the names in “Henry” family.

a sublter way is to use the same initial or name that shares the same elements in Enrique (“heim” house + “rich” ruler)

  • Eric
  • Frederick and Frederique
  • Cedric
  • Roderick
