Hey berries, we’re looking for a boy name that would sort of bridge my daughters’ more unusual names with my stepson’s name, [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. We have been brainstorming for a while (well, mainly I’ve been on the hunt and bugging SO about it) and we feel like we need to start fresh and look at some things new.
Here are some of our criteria:
No names beginning or containing the letter “V”, because we have a lot of that sound already in my youngests’ names.
3 syllables at most
No unissex or surname names
Traditional names with a twist or more international names that are easily adaptable into English.
I think something like [name_m]Lucian[/name_m], [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], [name_m]Augustine[/name_m], [name_m]Apollo[/name_m], [name_u]Florian[/name_u], [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], [name_m]Ulysses[/name_m], etc. You’ve gotten a lot of great suggestions already.
