We are expecting number 3 (gender will be a surprise) and haven’t got a clue what to name him or her. All of our old favourites, don’t sound as appealing this time around.
We have two children:
[name_m]Lorenz0[/name_m] [name_u]Everétt[/name_u] [name_u]0liver[/name_u]
[name_f]Chárlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Emméline[/name_f] [name_f]Rosé[/name_f]
We live in U.K. but have strong roots in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] and [name_u]America[/name_u]. While [name_m]Lorenzö[/name_m] is NOT unique in [name_u]America[/name_u] of [name_f]Italy[/name_f], it feels more so in U.K., and [name_f]Charlötte[/name_f] is not unique in U.K. or US, but one of the only ones when we are in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] (can’t win them all lol)
Please help with suggestions. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] 3 will have two middle names. I like timeless classics but with a little uniqueness.
I’m liking a lot of the suggestions! As more of a reference these are some of the names that were on our final list we took to the hospital:
Lavender (could not convince my husband)
[name_f]Violette[/name_f]
[name_f]Ilaria[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] (But can’t get over the new popularity of it)
[name_f]Caterina[/name_f]
Boys were
[name_m]Marcello[/name_m]
[name_m]Luciano[/name_m] ([name_u]Luca[/name_u])
[name_m]Lochlan[/name_m]
[name_m]Clarence[/name_m] (I like a clunky name and this one is actually pleasing to the ears)
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
I think the majority of my names are Edwardian, but could also [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] be classified as Renaissance- which I like. Both of their nicknames are more in par with the roaring 20s [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] (his initials). So I’m all over the place. Husband seems to be just a veto-er
And [name_f]Octavia[/name_f]!!! And [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] or [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] for their celestial and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] references. And [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Florence[/name_f] with [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]!! It matches [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] in era and style and [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] in Italian connection.
I can’t get behind the nn [name_f]Flo[/name_f]! It’s too “time of the month”. Which might be my hesitation to [name_f]Florence[/name_f]-is it inevitable? I did manage to get people nottò nn [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] “[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]”.
