I have posted in the past for help and all the responses were so great, I figured you would all be able to help again!
My gp name has been [name]Magnolia[/name] and I would use it in a heartbeat, if I didn’t have a niece, whom I am extremely close to, named [name]Maggie[/name]. The other day I stumbled upon the name [name]Juniper[/name], which makes my heart flutter the way [name]Magnolia[/name] does, especially since it has great nn potential. Also, my husband is in [name]LOVE[/name] with the name [name]June[/name], but I find it too short with our ln–you can see why I would be so excited to find [name]Juniper[/name]! I cautiously approached my husband about it and by some miracle he doesn’t hate it! It actually makes sense that he would like it, his top names are: [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Scarlet[/name], [name]Iris[/name]…
This is what I need help with:
Is it tacky for a baby born in [name]July[/name] to have [name]June[/name] in her name? I am due [name]July[/name] 6th, there’s a possibility she could be born in [name]June[/name]. Is THAT tacky?
Middle name ideas…We both love vintage/classic names, perhaps something more feminine should be paired with [name]Juniper[/name]?
I love [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mary[/name], because my mom’s name is [name]Maryann[/name] and would love to honor her! And I love [name]Nell[/name] and [name]Lucinda[/name]! Thank you for all of the great ideas!
[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mary[/name] is very beautiful. Any suggestion I thought of didn’t compare. And I agree the nickname [name]June[/name] can work regardless of which month she is born in.
[name]Juniper[/name] and [name]June[/name] are great for any month. I like [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mary[/name], too! [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Marian[/name], [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mariah[/name], or [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mariel[/name] might work to honor her if you were interested in alternatives.
[name]Juniper[/name] is great, and pairing it with [name]Mary[/name] to honor your mother is a lovely idea. Also, there’s a good chance she could be born in [name]June[/name] (not that it matters if she were a [name]July[/name] baby named [name]Juniper[/name]).
I only think month names are tacky when the baby gets the name of the month she’s born in. [name]Baby[/name] [name]June[/name] was born in [name]June[/name], like that. It makes me feel like the parents were too lazy to come up with an actual name so they just picked the month.
That being said, her name wouldn’t be [name]June[/name], it would be [name]Juniper[/name], so I don’t see much of an issue
I am glad I was able to find something that could possibly be a contender. Knowing that [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mary[/name] would honour family, I start to like the name even more.
I also love [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mary[/name]! I always want to make J names alliterative, so I like [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], but that may be more of a guilty pleasure.
Thank you for all of the responses–this is why I love nameberry! I am so happy about [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mary[/name] but there are other great suggestions just in case DH doesn’t like [name]Mary[/name] (men can be so weird about names)! Plus, I’m glad it wouldn’t be tacky for her nn to be [name]June[/name]…after months of obsessing over nameberry and seeing all of the amazing name combos, I would hate to end up with a tacky choice! Thanks, again!
[name]Juniper[/name] is beautiful! Great choice! [name]Mary[/name] is a nice mn, for some reason does not flow well to me, maybe consider a second mn like [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Mary[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
