In Need of Preppy Names!

I’m looking for names of a few different characters. All of them are around the ages of 16-17 and come from very wealthy families. All are super preppy. Think taking a summer on [name]Martha[/name]'s Vineyard.

  1. Girl-main character smart, sarcastic, and quick witted. Tall [name]Brunette[/name] and hazel eyes. [name]Even[/name] though she is more spunky on the inside she fits the preppy girl act perefectly.

  2. Boy- this is her boyfriend. He is hardworking and very serious most of the time but sweet and VERY protective of her. tall , dark brown hair good looking.

  3. Another girl- the total friememy (by that I mean they act nice around each other but she is always out to get the main character) she is also kind of like a vixen in her demeanor. shorter brunette and very good looking.

  4. Boy- Boyfriend of the mean girl and friend of both the main character and her boyfriend. he has always been the one to get in trouble but he always finds a way out of it. a total charmer. Very good looking. and always get what he wants.

If you could help me find preppy names that fit these descriptions that would be Amazing! Thanks!

Define preppy, and I will give you names.

Wealthy, high class, lily Pulitzer, and vineyard vines. the stereotypical view. Maybe something classic yet unique at the same time if that makes any sense.

I see the first girl as some: [name]Rebekkah[/name] [name]Lea[/name] Beckingham
And her boyfriend have a name with a bit of old feel: [name]Sylvester[/name] [name]Kole[/name] Plimmswood
[name]Le[/name] Friememy: [name]Nicola[/name] [name]Daisy[/name] Urswick
And her boyfriend: [name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Ioan[/name] [name]Decimus[/name]

The reason with [name]Rebekkah[/name], is because I awlays see a girl, with a preppy attitude and brown hair.
And [name]Sylvester[/name] just sounded good with her name. While [name]Nicola[/name] was a bit harder to get her name, as I thought it should sound sweet and innocent. Oh and I made her boyfriend with roman names, as it sounded gorgeous!

I really like lyraslife’s suggestion of [name]Nicola[/name]! It fits your descriptions very well. Here are some other ideas:

Character 1: [name]Bellamy[/name], [name]Bryn[/name], [name]Tess[/name], [name]Hadley[/name], [name]Harper[/name]
Character 2: [name]Marcus[/name], [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Brandon[/name], [name]Tristan[/name], [name]Thatcher[/name], [name]Theo[/name]
Character 3: [name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Bianca[/name], [name]Tabitha[/name], [name]Tara[/name], [name]Tatiana[/name], [name]Heidi[/name], [name]Lacy[/name], [name]Laurel[/name], [name]Leona[/name]
Character 4: [name]Simon[/name], [name]Cyrus[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Camden[/name], [name]Oliver[/name]

Good luck!

Also If you have suggestions for names, please suggest any middle/last names that may sound good with the names? I am thinking of using [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] for my male characters. If anyone has any last names that sound good with those they would be greatly appreciated!

If you want the guys being [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] I’d say:

[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Fletcher[/name] [name]Durant[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] [name]Prosper[/name] Kellogg

[name]Everett[/name] [name]Miles[/name] Blackwood
[name]Isaac[/name] [name]Bernard[/name] Allenby

I don’t think I have anything to add to this conversation, because a whole lot of really good names have been suggested. I like the suggestion of [name]Nicola[/name] for the girl, and Urswick is a good last name. I really have no clue what to say…I’ll get back to you on that one!

Check out the athletic team rosters of schools like [name]Phillips[/name] Academy Andover, [name]Phillips[/name] Exeter Academy, Deerfield Academy, The Hotchkiss School, St. [name]Paul[/name]'s School, etc. They are a goldmine. You will never get better than that.
