Ok Berries, I need some feedback on my ever-evolving girl’s list! Hubby seems to just say, ‘oh yeah, that’s pretty’ and not give much real feedback - so that’s not very helpful. Here’s the current list:

[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Joelle[/name] ([name]Joelle[/name] is a combo of his mom’s name and my mom’s name so that one isn’t open to personal opinion debate)
[name]Kaia[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Jocelyn[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Jocelyn[/name] [name]Joelle[/name] (too much alliteration?)
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Joelle[/name]

I’d love to know what comes to mind when you hear these names? What do you picture? Which ones would you keep, which one’s would you strike immediately?

There’s a sweetheart named [name]Corinne[/name] at my job, she’s so lovely.

[name]Marin[/name] and [name]Kaia[/name] are my favourites on your list - although I’m not a huge fan of [name]Amelia[/name], especially not with [name]Kaia[/name]. The A ending and A start ruins the flow for me.

Thanks for the feedback - that’s actually the very first positive feedback on [name]Corinne[/name] I’ve [name]EVER[/name] gotten! And it’s been on my list for YEARS! I’m so happy someone likes it, I was just about to drop it permanently but it just really makes me happy.

@tiggerian - good point! I guess we could try [name]Kaia[/name] [name]Joelle[/name], that flows better?

[name]Joelle[/name] fits much better and the sentimental value adds to the name! I love the name [name]Kaia[/name] - its a great name.

[name]Marin[/name] is a gorgeous name, and I actually think [name]Marin[/name] [name]Joelle[/name] would be a lovely combination.

I have always loved [name]Marin[/name] and [name]Corinne[/name]! They’re both uncommon and beautiful. We likely would have used [name]Corinne[/name] as part of our daughter’s name because it’s a family name, but my DH’s cousin used it. We might not let that stop us from using it as middle next time, though. So pretty! I had a student named [name]Marin[/name] once (actually, [name]Maren[/name]). She was a lovely little girl with perfect golden curls. My husband thought I had made the name up when I suggested it, though.

I absolutely adore [name]Jocelyn[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]! It’s so sweet and yet so wearable, I would love to meet a little girl with the name. I also adore [name]Kaia[/name], but don’t love [name]Kaia[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] so much.
