incongruous sibsets

I know some people don’t care about sibsets at all. I don’t even think it’s that important. But sometimes I just see/hear one that makes me go “huh?” Like, how could someone who likes the name _____ possibly like _____, too. They’re too different!

This is one I just saw on Facebook…
(in order of age, oldest to youngest)

Linkyn
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]

What!? I just can’t wrap my head around it. Linkyn is trendy with a made-up spelling, [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is old-fashioned and sort of hoity-toity, and [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] is a dated 80s name.

I’m not trying to poke fun at their name choices, it’s just the mismatch that I find so surprising and baffling.

What do you think? Have any interestingly incongruous sibsets to share?

I agree, that sibset is kinda odd. Linkyn seems so out of place.

I know a brother and sister whose names are [name_m]Geordie[/name_m] and Sauzi, their parents let him name his sister
