[name]Drake[/name] is the best from your list and goes well with both [name]Riley[/name] and [name]Raiden[/name]. I like [name]Drake[/name] [name]Raiden[/name] best -[name]Riley[/name] has been commandeered by the girls it seems, even though it’s a boy’s name too. [name]Do[/name] you have [name]Asian[/name] heritage at all? If so, then [name]Drake[/name] would be great as a nod to the year of the water dragon.

[name]Sloane[/name] [name]Ava[/name] & [name]Drake[/name] [name]Raiden[/name] make a good sibset.

[name]Dexter[/name] has an unfortunate association with a serial killer on TV, and the meaning is just “dyer of clothes” -kind of boring if you ask me, although as far as sound goes, it’s nice and goes well with [name]Sloane[/name].

[name]Cameron[/name] is a lovely name but means “bent nose”. If that doesn’t bother you, then that’s cool. I like the name [name]Cameron[/name] for its Scottish connection and because it’s my cousins name… but the meaning is kind of lame.

I like [name]Cameron[/name] the best, but [name]Dexter[/name] has a similar quirky/cool feel to [name]Sloane[/name]. I think [name]Sloane[/name] and [name]Dex[/name] would be a great duo. The only downside to using [name]Dexter[/name] is that you’d run into a problem with having an R-middle (Dexterriley or Dexterraiden.) But [name]Dexter[/name] on its own kind of sounds like doctor!

Also, [name]Sloane[/name] and [name]Cameron[/name] are both characters from [name]Ferris[/name] [name]Bueller[/name]'s [name]Day[/name] Off!! I think you’d have people forever pointing that out, which would annoy me even though I love the movie.

As for [name]Drake[/name], the association with the rapper [name]Drake[/name] is really strong these days.

1 [name]Drake[/name]
2 [name]Dexter[/name]
3 [name]Cameron[/name]

[name]Cameron[/name]'s a great name, but at #53 last year, it’s also fairly common. The other consideration is that it’s used fairly frequently on girls too; with a sister called [name]Sloane[/name], I’d probably assume [name]Cameron[/name] is a girl (I don’t think that would put me off if [name]Cameron[/name] were my favourite name, mind you!).

[name]Drake[/name] (#219) and [name]Dexter[/name] (#384) are less common and, I think, more in line with the style you’re going for and with sister(s) [name]Sloane[/name] (#511) and [name]Blair[/name] (#973; [name]Blaire[/name] isn’t even in the top 1000). Of the two, I think [name]Dexter[/name] fits the bill for ‘sleek modern sophisticated’; yes, there’s a TV show with the paradoxically likeable serial killer, but the show’s on its 8th season and won’t be around forever; besides which, [name]Dexter[/name]'s been used as a name for much longer than the show’s been around and namesakes like [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] imbue the name with a pretty awesome jazzy feel. Of the middle names you’ve given, I prefer [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Riley[/name] ([name]Dexter[/name] [name]Reilly[/name]?), but [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Drake[/name] sounds cool too.

If you’re still looking for a one-syllable option, what about [name]Hayes[/name], [name]Flynn[/name], [name]Grey[/name], [name]Heath[/name], [name]Rex[/name], or [name]Blaise[/name]?

All popularity numbers and name meanings aside (because really, if you love love love a name they shouldn’t make a fig of a difference [name]IMO[/name]) I like [name]Drake[/name] the best. I think it sounds just right with [name]Sloane[/name] and [name]Drake[/name] [name]Raiden[/name] is quite handsome

I think [name]Sloane[/name] and [name]Dexter[/name] are perfect together. [name]Drake[/name] would be my second choice and is actually my favourite of the three but I think [name]Dexter[/name] fits better. [name]Cameron[/name] seems too normal. [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Riley[/name] is pretty cute.

I really like [name]Dexter[/name], and it is my favorite name for you! [name]Drake[/name] would be a close second favorite. I do like [name]Cameron[/name] but I think you need a decidedly masculine name next to sister [name]Sloane[/name].
You probably aren’t looking for suggestions, but I have to throw out one of my favorite boys names…it is one syllable and stylish (similar to [name]Drake[/name], but fresher and sleeker sounding in my opinion): [name]Tate[/name]. Sounds great with [name]Sloane[/name], too!

[name]Dexter[/name] [name]Raiden[/name]!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Drake[/name]!

I think [name]Sloane[/name] and [name]Dexter[/name] sound great together…my favorite on the list is actually [name]Cameron[/name] but I don’t like that you wouldn’t KNOW on paper that you had a boy and a girl (don’t get me wrong, I like unisex names. However, I don’t like it when all the siblings have them as names, then you don’t know which is which).

[name]Sloane[/name] [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Dexter[/name] [name]Riley[/name] gets my vote. I’m not crazy about [name]Raiden[/name].

Thanks guys. Most helpful as usual. I think [name]Cameron[/name] is out! but maybe we can use it for a middle name. What do you guys think of [name]Devin[/name]?

Hey guys, thanks for the insight. We are leaning towards [name]Drake[/name], but my only concern is the association with the “artist” rapper. [name]Do[/name] you guys think that is a big deal? My thought is that he won’t be as popular, or even around, when the teasing would begin. Any thoughts?

[name]Love[/name] [name]Drake[/name]!

[name]Devin[/name] is nice (I prefer it to [name]Dexter[/name]), but I much prefer [name]Drake[/name]!

I think [name]Drake[/name] is definitely the best choice. You need a strong name to out-masculine the unisex [name]Sloane[/name]. It’s uncommon and cool.

I’ve never heard of a rapper named [name]Drake[/name], and doubt he’ll be a lasting influence on popular culture as we know it.

Sad to hear [name]Cameron[/name] is out. I think [name]Cameron[/name] [name]Dexter[/name] would have been a great name for [name]Sloane[/name] [name]Ava[/name]'s brother. They’d have the unisex first names with strong gender indicators as middle names.
