I like [name]Riley[/name], [name]Paige[/name] and [name]Blaire[/name] the best from your list above. I particularly like that [name]Riley[/name] and [name]Sloane[/name] have strong Irish meanings to them.
[name]Sienna[/name] is beautiful too though I’d be hesitant because of the S-begining and the fact that too me if feels very different to [name]Sloane[/name] in style and spirit.

I actually think [name]Riley[/name] [name]Mae[/name] would be very cute as a combo. ([name]Mae[/name] having the same number of letters as [name]Ava[/name] and giving the unisex [name]Riley[/name] a little femininity).

I think [name]Blair[/name] works the best with all your specifications. Sleek and sophisticated, one syllable and goes well with [name]Sloane[/name]

With [name]Sloane[/name], I like…

1 [name]Paige[/name]
2 [name]Blair[/name]
3 [name]Brooke[/name]

Have you considered Blythe or Bryce?

[name]Blaire[/name] is a great choice. Goes very nicely with [name]Sloane[/name].

[name]Paige[/name], without a doubt!

I like that [name]Sloane[/name] & [name]Blaire[/name] are truly unisex, neither too masculine nor too feminine

I prefer the [name]Blaire[/name] spelling, [name]Blair[/name] is more common for boys plus it always looks incomplete to me

[name]Sienna[/name] [name]Blair[/name] or [name]Sienna[/name] [name]Brooke[/name] sound nice with [name]Sloane[/name] [name]Ava[/name] in my opinion.

I really like [name]Blair[/name]. The one suggestion I would make is to shy away from another name that begins with S - if you don’t go with [name]Blair[/name] (which I love), perhaps [name]Riley[/name] or [name]Brooke[/name]?

Great advice berries!! You have been most helpful.
I wonder if any of your suggestions would be different if this were our first child? In other words, what name would you pick if there were no sibling to match the name with? It’s not our top priority to match them and are just curious if that would influence your advice.
Thanks again. We do appreciate it!

@lexiem and @selenea- I too am concerned about both names starting with S.
@mischa- we haven’t considered [name]Blythe[/name] or [name]Bryce[/name]…will run it by the spouse!
@nat108-we had the same issue with sloane…wether or not to include the e!

Thanks to all. Keep up the good work!

Of all the names on your list I like [name]Robyn[/name] the best, though it does seem softer and more fanciful than [name]Sloane[/name].

I always try to “match” sibling names as far as style is concerned but I know a lot of people don’t like the word “sibset”. For example, although I may like [name]Sienna[/name] better than [name]Paige[/name], I think [name]Sienna[/name] is a little too frilly next to [name]Sloane[/name]'s name.

I voted for [name]Blair[/name]. I wasn’t really influenced by your older daughter’s name but rather by your indication that you want “sleek modern sophisticated”. Since [name]Sloane[/name]'s name fits that description the names end up working together well.

Have you considered [name]Lux[/name]? It means light.

My second favorite is [name]Jade[/name] and that’s with or without her sister, [name]Sloane[/name].

I love the name [name]Sloane[/name]! I also saw another of my favorites on your list so I had to vote for that…[name]Blair[/name]! [name]Sloane[/name] & [name]Blair[/name] sound so sweet together. I also read your reply and if I wasn’t considering [name]Sloane[/name], I also like [name]Sydney[/name]. I’m not really a fan of repeating letters for siblings but that’s just a personal preference.

Ditto this…I picked [name]Blair[/name] independent of [name]Sloane[/name], although I do have to say that they also happen to sound great together! My second pick would be [name]Paige[/name].

[name]Blair[/name] gets my vote. It’s unisex and one syllable like [name]Sloane[/name], and both names sort of have the same preppy feel.

I like [name]Sienna[/name], but like the majority of PPs, I think [name]Blair[/name] is great with [name]Sloane[/name]. If you were attached to [name]Reese[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name], are you sure they’re off the table? I have had friends who have named their kids the same names simply because each set of parents had always loved that name. There were no hard feelings, but of course everyone may not feel the same way about this.

[name]Blair[/name]/[name]Blaire[/name] is the only name I really like.

@nat108-we had the same issue with sloane…wether or not to include the e!

Not sure why but the -e makes them feminine. I love both names for both genders but I’m not crazy about the boy spellings, [name]Sloan[/name] & [name]Blair[/name]
