[name_m]Reading[/name_m] these forums reminded me of [name_f]India[/name_f], which I’ve liked since reading Gone With The Wind. I like the old school colonial vibe, which these days has a kind of boho elegance to it. But I was surprised that it’s barely in the top 1000 tables! What do you guys think of it with [name_f]Lily[/name_f]? And do you think it’s due a revival along with the Claras and Adelines of this world?
[name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is beautiful. [name_f]India[/name_f] is a sweet, spunky name but I will personally avoid it. I have concerns that it could be offensives to some. I would rather try to avoid giving a name that might be. I would rather not put my child in the situation to deal with that throughout their lifetime. I adore [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] and have concerns with that name also.
I adore [name_f]Indie[/name_f]. [name_f]Indie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Indie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] (lil-ah) are beautiful.
The only downfall for me with this name is that it sounds a little too descriptive (like [name_f]Florida[/name_f] Oranges or [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Peaches[/name_f]) instead of a name for a child. I really love the suggestion of [name_f]Indie[/name_f] [name_f]Lillia[/name_f].
People can find a problem with almost any name, if they want to.
I think [name_f]India[/name_f] is beautiful. I love [name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], warm and spicy and fresh and feminine.
