[name_u]Indigo[/name_u] is one of my favourites for a boy, and the first time I heard it was on a male character so I actually struggle imaging on a girl, if anything. [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]'s my favourite colour, I love how it sounds, and I really like saying it. Big yay from me!

I think of it as more of a boys name. I personally would only use it as a middle name.

I love it on both genders, and i think it will be very nice on a boy.

I like [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] better on a boy, though I can see it on both genders. It feels artsy, cool, fresh and a bit nature-y.

The ‘o’ ending definitely makes me think more boy than girl, though I can see it on both.

I think nature names are fair game for either gender.

I have always found [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] to be more masculine, but I remember reading a book when I was younger with a boy named [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] in it so I never even thought of it as being a girl name at all.

I love [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] and to me it’s more of a boy’s name! [name_m]Indio[/name_m] might be another alternative if you aren’t sure.

Maybe it depends where you live, because [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] is used only for girls as far as I can see. I understand it’s a unisex name in theory, but the usage is for girls in my experience.

[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] however is a boy’s name.

I like it! It’s not my style but I think it would totally work and I would love to meet a little boy named [name_u]Indigo[/name_u].

[name_m]Iggy[/name_m] would be such a great nickname!!

I know a teenage boy named [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] who mainly goes by [name_f]Indy[/name_f]. His sister’s name is [name_f]Siena[/name_f].
