I like just plain [name]Indy[/name] for boys. [name]Indigo[/name], while could very well be a boy’s name, is leaning to the girl’s side for me at the moment. [name]Indiana[/name] is feminine to me and on my girl’s list, even with [name]Indiana[/name] [name]Jones[/name]; I’m not a fan of the others.
[name]Inigo[/name] is one of my favourite middle names at the moment.
I also like [name]Indio[/name] and [name]Indigo[/name], but not as much as [name]Inigo[/name].
I like [name]Indio[/name] best, followed by [name]Indiana[/name] and [name]Inigo[/name] (not sure which I actually like best). I don’t think I’d use any of them, but I like them for someone else’s child.
I’ve only ever known boys with the name [name]Indigo[/name]. I think it’s great. I’ve never heard [name]Iniko[/name] before, but I think I love it! I think it’s my favorite, but I don’t like the nickname “Ini.” It makes me think of belly buttons. [name]Niko[/name] is nice though. I think [name]Indigo[/name] and [name]Iniko[/name] are both totally usable.
[name]Indigo[/name] is my favorite, but I don’t really love any of them. I think it’s a great middle name option, but I’m only so so about it as a first.
My favorite name beginning with in is actually Inias (ah-[name]NYE[/name]-ahs, roughly).
[name]Iniko[/name] sounds kind of feminine, but I love [name]Inigo[/name] 8)
I think they are all cool, but I coudn’t use them for a boy. Here’s why:
[name]Indigo[/name]: bookstore & i’m not a fan of unisex names
[name]Indio[/name]: Sounds like a letter is missing
[name]Inigo[/name]: the poor child would soon tire of me and my DH quoting: “My name is [name]Inigo[/name] Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”
[name]Iniko[/name]: means “time of trouble” !!!
Inacio: I prefer it with the G… [name]Ignacio[/name]… this would be a handsome, though daring name for a baby boy.
[name]Indiana[/name] & [name]Indy[/name]: [name]Jones[/name]. I don’t expect any of my chidren to look like [name]Harrison[/name] [name]Ford[/name] and I don’t expect them to become so adept with a whip
