I’m recently so obsessed with the name [name_f]Ines[/name_f]. I previously had it on my lists for middle names but wanting to explore it as a first name.
I have a son Elli0tt Ree$e and i keep thinking [name_f]Ines[/name_f] sounds so cute together with his name.
I previously always thought my girl name was [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], which I still love a ton but I feel it definitely doesn’t go with brother’s name. It does go with our last name super well though and I’m not super strict about sibling names having to match.
But to give [name_f]Ines[/name_f] a chance- what middle name?
I like [name_f]Ines[/name_f]. It’s definitely one of those names that has grown on me, and it’s starting to sound really modern and chic.
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] I feel actually goes well with both names. [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] really neatly straddles a line between sounding modern and cool but also retro and classic. I feel like [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] go either way though - [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] is way more modern, whereas [name_f]Ines[/name_f] is way more classic. So [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] goes with either, but I don’t know if [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] necessarily “go” together.
Out of your options so far, I really like [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Adriana[/name_f] and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Violetta[/name_f]. It seems you prefer more dramatic, romantic middles so how about…
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] Amelia*
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] Aurelia*
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Hartley[/name_u]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Lisette[/name_f]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Kara[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Inès[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (nice repeat if your son’s single syllable)
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] (even more of an echo)
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Fern[/name_u]
*I get these would mean you would need a new middle for [name_u]Harlow[/name_u]. I really like [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] and think it would sound great as a third with [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] & [name_f]Ines[/name_f]. (I do think [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] & [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] work together as fresh, tailored names that both lean slightly unisex). I prefer [name_f]Ines[/name_f] to [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] but only just - they’re both fab!
I actually think [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] goes better with [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] because they’re both rather [name_f]English[/name_f] sounding whereas [name_f]Ines[/name_f] leans very Spanish to me.
However, I still think [name_f]Ines[/name_f] works!
For a middle name, I think…
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Luella[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Fiorella[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
I actually truly love [name_f]Ines[/name_f] I think she’s so sweet, elegant, delicate and unexpected. For me I have imagery surrounding pastel colours and antique lace which I love. I really like [name_f]Ines[/name_f] & E’s name together. I think [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is pretty very fashionable but I do prefer [name_f]Ines[/name_f].
You have so many wonderful middle names for [name_f]Ines[/name_f]! I truly love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] & [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] as middle names for [name_f]Ines[/name_f] so swoon worthy.
You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
I LOVE [name_f]Ines[/name_f] (slightly prefer the [name_f]Inez[/name_f] spelling, but both are awesome). I prefer her over [name_u]Harlow[/name_u], though I actually think [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] sound more cohesive. Some middle name ideas… sorry for any repeats!
Thank you! I guess I would descibe my style as romantic but also preppy!
I think I am really liking [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] (pronounced Add-uh-line although for those who pronounce it Add-ah-lyn or Add-uh-leen, as a middle name, thats fine. I know all the pronunciations are correct and regional).
[name_u]Harlow[/name_u] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is very much still really high on my list but I like to have two names and kinda decide which one really feels right so i think [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] is my other name! I know they are pretty different but loving both!!
Elli0tt and [name_f]Ines[/name_f] are so fun for siblings. I love them together — and apart!!! How gorgeous.
I’d choose [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] from your list. That is fantastic. So old timey glamorous, but sharp and cool! (And I just really like [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], so I may be biased.)
