I love both [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] and [name_f]Inga[/name_f], and I can’t decide which I love more! It would be amazing if you all could vote on which you like more and why.
Currently, the winning combos for each are [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], and I haven’t found a favourite for [name_f]Inga[/name_f]. At the moment I have [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u], [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. If you have a favourite or want to share more suggestions, please feel more than welcome.
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is lovely! I also like [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_u]Joyce[/name_u]. My favorite first name is [name_f]Inga[/name_f], although [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is a wonderful combination.
I prefer [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] over [name_f]Inga[/name_f], but I prefer the combos [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Inga[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] over [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Inga[/name_f] because [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] sounds very old fashioned to me and here it actually is (dont know about the US). The only [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] I know is a 70 years old lady.
I like [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]. I think it’s more useable in the US because of [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] Bergman and [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] Michaelson. [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is cute! [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would also be nice.
In Norway, [name_f]Inga[/name_f] is seen as a more dated old lady name, and I doubt it’ll ever be fashionable again. Think something along the lines of [name_f]Bernice[/name_f] and [name_f]Enid[/name_f]. [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is a lovely name, and very popular in Norway. I know several Ingrids in their early 20’s, as well as a three year old with the name.
I also agree with pp that [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is more usable in the US.
