We are in the process of choosing middle names, however, I’m unexpectedly finding that the first and middle initials may have some teasing potential. It’s possible that I’m concerned about nothing, and wayyyy over thinking the power of initials, but I’d like some other opinions. Please let me know if you see the teasing potential in either:
V.D. Or V.J.

I think you have to worry more about first + surname and first+middle+surname. Kids won’t generally know your child’s middle name. Those initials really aren’t the worst I could think of and whenever this topic comes up, people say kids will find something to make fun of, if you make their initials ‘safe’ they’ll just move on to some other way to tease.
I agree with the PP. I would be more worried about first and last name having bad initials (ex: BJ). [name_m]Say[/name_m] your last initial begins with the letter M, then the first and middle will always be seen as VDM or VJM or vMd or vMj. I would always worry more about the three initials together or the first and last name initials more. Plus, most people don’t always know your middle name.
