Initials. Big deal or no

I really love the name [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. Like ridiculously love the name. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is a family name. [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is just a name I like. Are the initials BMC setting up a kid to be compared to a “bowel movement” though or am I way overthinking this? Any advice, good or bad, is welcome!

When I first saw the initials I didn’t see anything wrong. I did not think of bowel movements at all.

Definitely not. I wouldn’t be able to point out anything wrong with the initials. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if for some reason it was plain & obvious, people probably won’t know his middle names in places like school and work.

If his name were [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u], with [name_u]Michael[/name_u] being his surname (thus, BM), then I would think of bowel movement…but that’s only because of my nursing studies, where they love to instill us with lots of things that make being a name nerd hard (for instance, [name_f]Melena[/name_f]…). That being said, he has another initial that offsets the association. I think it’s totally fine! Initials usually aren’t a big deal unless they happen to spell out something like A$$. It’s all good

They are not big deal at all. That include BS, BJ, PM, AA, etc…

Would never have thought anything of those initials. I doubt a kid would know

I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s not like his last name starts with M and how often do people really use their full initials? And on monogrammed things, it would probably be BCM. I don’t think it’s a big deal at all!
