So I had posted previously regarding good middle names for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], and had many wonderful responses. Some new names in the running are:
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] N****
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] N****
If we went with [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], the initials would spell out the word “can.” Granted, the word it spells out could be worse (we are avoiding all middle names beginning with “o”). However, I was wondering if anyone on here would choose a different name just for that reason? We are also considering [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] now because my husband’s name is [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]. Her initials with that combo would be CJN, the same as my husband’s. Also, what would be your preference between the two options above? Thank you!
My last name starts with T and if we ever have a boy I want to have his middle nam after my husband, [name_m]Austin[/name_m], and I also like the name [name_f]Anne[/name_f] for a middle name for a girl. So, I in the same boat! I don’t think “CAN” is too bad, like you said there could be worse names. Most people she comes in contact with won’t know her middle name anyways… I like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] more than [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]…
I like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] best. The CAN doesn’t bother me. It makes me think of a can-do attitude. But [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is lovely also and I like that she would share the initials with your husband. So this one is really a toss-up… I don’t think you can go wrong! They are both beautiful and classic. I guess my slight preference is for [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]!
The initials CAN doesn’t bother me at all. If the middle [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is your fav then I’d go for it. My personal preference is [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I think giving her the same initials as Daddy is sweet.
My mum and I have the initials [name_f]PET[/name_f] and LET respectively, so I don’t personally see an issue with initials being words! (: [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] sounds beautiful and the initials CAN look better to me than CJN.
