It would not bother me. For monograming it would be TTN. It’s not that often that you have to write your initials, at least in my experience. Buying a home was the worst. You have to initial lots and LOTS of lines. Actually I would have enjoyed using the initials TNT after awhile. lol

We avoided the initials KAT with my daughter (Katharine) because I thought it was a bit cheesy but I now wish we had used them because it would have been fun especially since we have ended up calling her Kat and not Kate as planned.

I’m wondering if TNT could be a similar situation. I’ll end up avoiding them and later realize that they would have been fun.

My husband has been opposed to alliteration which is why it’s taken to a hypothetical boy #6 to consider a Thomas as a first name. Another option could be to use Nathan as the first name and call him Thomas.

That’s too bad about [name_f]KAT[/name_f].

I personally would stick with [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] as the first name, when that is what he will be called. I also thought, TNT might seem cool to a boy/man. He might want to find more places to use his initials.

I don’t think the initials TNT are a problem at all! They make me chuckle and I think it would be fun, especially for a boy. I can remember in school everyone comparing initials and finding out if someone’s initials spelled something. TNT would have been a winner. lol
