Our girls list was quite a bit smaller than our boys list so we decided to start with it, except instead of making it smaller we somehow managed to make it longer. I need help narrowing it down, or replacing some of them with new names in hopes I find one that we [name]LOVE[/name] because we don’t love any of these really.
Here’s what we’ve got… Other kids names are in my signature
As I said, We aren’t in love with any of these, and we are definitely open for other suggestions for first names or for middle names. Anything helps. We’ve got about 4 weeks left now, and we’re not even close to having a small list for each gender to take to the hospital with us.
I think [name]Eloise[/name] is a little close to [name]Elias[/name].
My favourite names from you list are [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Isobel[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Celia[/name], [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name].
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Penelope[/name] would be my favourite combo.
If I could mix and match, I would choose [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Isobel[/name] or [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Lucia[/name].
I’d suggest more names, but I have to go to bed. ^^
You’re right, I didn’t even say them together. We usually call [name]Elias[/name], [name]Eli[/name] so the similarity just kinda slipped my mind. Ok, [name]Eloise[/name] is out.
I like [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Lucia[/name], but i’m worried about [name]Audrey[/name]'s popularity.
I love [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Audrey[/name], but it’s awfully close to [name]Elias[/name]. I see tongue tying in your future.
[name]Lucia[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] is my next favourite, and then [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Isobel[/name] but spelled [name]Isabel[/name]. [name]Isobel[/name] makes me think of “I sob.” and a crying/sad child.
[name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] is my favorite from your list! I think since your three other children’s names are all quite different in sound, your fourth should follow suit. [i either like matchy-matchy or strikingly different sibsets] A few suggestions:
[name]Isobel[/name] [name]Claire[/name] [or [name]Claire[/name] [name]Isobel[/name] for that matter]
[name]Imogen[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Vallerie[/name] [name]Isobel[/name]
[name]Vallerie[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Mona[/name] [name]Isobel[/name]
[name]Mona[/name] [name]Estelle[/name]
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
Can you tell I like [name]Isobel[/name]?
Since [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Helena[/name] are both Shakespearean names, (and you’re considering [name]Cordelia[/name], [name]Celia[/name], and [name]Imogen[/name]) you might like some other Shakespearean names with similar vibes:
I agree that [name]Eloise[/name] is too similar with [name]Elias[/name], but isn’t [name]Elodie[/name] as well? And [name]Alice[/name]? aah-lis, ee-lih-as? So I would say they [name]BOTH[/name] are out.
[name]Lucia[/name], [name]Cordelia[/name], and [name]Celia[/name] are all lovely. I would go with the Shakespearean theme, and choose either [name]Cordelia[/name] or [name]Celia[/name]. Since [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Helena[/name] are both longer names, I would go with [name]Cordelia[/name]. I like [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Isobel[/name] best.
