Interesting new kid names at my daycare

We’ve got 2 new kids at the daycare. 4 year old [name]Hunter[/name] and his younger brother [name]Fisher[/name]. I think this sib set is a little over the top.

On [name]Monday[/name], we’re getting anew little girl named [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Cole[/name]. I like [name]Jillian[/name], but [name]Cole[/name] is a boys name to me >.<

I agree [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name] is a bit much, but [name]Fisher[/name] on its own is too cute! I love it.

[name]Jillian[/name] is adorable, as well. I agree that [name]Cole[/name] is utterly masculine, though. :frowning:

I really love [name]Jillian[/name], its so sweet and adorable. Especially with a J instead of a G. I’ve come close to adding it to my list a few times. [name]Fisher[/name], [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Cole[/name] aren’t my style at all.

I like [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name] together so long as their brothers, not sisters.

I just thought it was overkill but to each their own

I’d also like to note that a new boy I got in my group about 2 weeks ago, [name]Enzo[/name] [name]Scott[/name] LN, I found out today that his mothers name is [name]Valeria[/name] and I told her she had a very cool name.

I have the perfect Brother for [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name]!!! [name]Archer[/name]!!!

[name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name] reminds me of a brother-sister sibset I met once named [name]Forrest[/name] and [name]Lake[/name].

I really like [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Cole[/name]. I don’t mind [name]Cole[/name] on a girl in the middle spot. You never know, maybe it is a family surname. I also think it works in my head because it’s just [name]Nicole[/name] minus the first syllable, and [name]Jillian[/name] already has the N sound at the end of it.

[name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name]- I wouldn’t know which was the girl. [name]Fisher[/name] is the softer of the two, although I cringe at calling a girl that

[name]Cole[/name] is probably someone’s maiden name

Totally agree with you on the [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Cole[/name]. Putting family names in the middle spot is rather well known nowadays.

[name]Enzo[/name] [name]Scott[/name]! [name]Love[/name] it! I would consider using that myself! And [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name] are a bit overkill …

I have heard the boys name [name]Hunter[/name] many times myself, but like it better for a girl since it’s more unique. I’ve never heard [name]Fisher[/name] being used as a first name, and [name]Jillian[/name] isn’t heard much anymore.

To the person who said they didn’t know if [name]Hunter[/name] or [name]Fisher[/name] was a girl, they’re both boys

I might ask the mom if [name]Cole[/name] is a family name. I’d be really interested in knowing and most of the parents at my daycare are pretty open with their kids names. If it is a family name, I wouldn’t mind it nearly as much

[name]Love[/name] [name]Hunter[/name] & [name]Fisher[/name], as long as it’s on boys, not girls! I think [name]Hunter[/name] & [name]Fisher[/name] are too masculine for girls. I like [name]Jillian[/name] with a J best. And [name]Archer[/name] would be a great brother for [name]Hunter[/name] & [name]Fisher[/name] as pp said. I rather [name]Cole[/name] for a boy.

I would suggest [name]Jillian[/name] [name]Colette[/name] in that case for a feminine touch

I know two brothers named [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Pilot[/name]…

Why do I get the terrible feeling that [name]Hunter[/name] & [name]Fisher[/name] have parents that get their meat & fish at Whole Foods.
Ugh.

You know what’s weird, the parents weren’t on our waiting list, they just showed up one day. Now one knows them so I don’t know anything about them except that their sons are [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name]. I wonder what a girl name would be for them?

Aw, we have an [name]Alfred[/name] [name]Enzo[/name] at our daycare. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, [name]Hunter[/name] and [name]Fisher[/name] are a bit much. I do know a set of brothers named [name]Fisher[/name] and Otter, which also struck me as a bit much.
