[name_f]Fear[/name_f] is cracking me up but I’m kinda digging Marsylvia

Loving [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] on a girl, absolutely tickled over [name_f]Fear[/name_f] and Pistole!? What a list!!!

I actually really like Birdina  What a crazy list though! Thanks for sharing!

I do too! Birdina nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is very charming imo

I kind of like Manassas, I’m assuming it’s a variant of Manasseh.

Hollybranch, lovely!

Perhaps! I assumed it was a place name, as I’ve driven through a Manassas. But both could be true, the place could also potentially be a variant of Manasseh

I kind of love Ferliebelle, Zynettia, and [name_m]Romer[/name_m]. Ferlie-Belle kind of gives me like the name of a cute pet cow lol.

Mindwell
[name_u]Noble[/name_u]
Actually I think the above 3 have a feminist appeal for the present day!
Pardon
Preserved
Renewed
Woe
There was also Odeal which at first I misread as Ordeal!! I think it’s a spelling variant of [name_f]Odile[/name_f], though

Names I really like that were new-ish to me

Alantha, Alderose, Alminda, Andelilah, Amadie,
[name_f]Ama[/name_f] as nn for [name_f]Amabelle[/name_f]

[name_f]Baize[/name_f] - I was looking at this word, pondering its name-like potential recently, without knowing it was ever in use as a name. Unfortunately I discovered that baise is a sexual slang verb. Although it’s PN behz I deemed it too close for comfort for me. Shame.

Corolin, Corolyn, Coroline

Damona (sounds like the moaner doesn’t it? That aside, it has a dark academia appeal for me)

Emarintha - mentioned as the original full name for Rintha

[name_u]Halsey[/name_u], Hollena,

Icephemia & spelling variations

[name_f]Iley[/name_f]

Kamary

Lavanta, Lavantia

Marilda, Marsina / Marsena,
Marsylvia (is this a smoosh name?)
Marrette, [name_u]Maven[/name_u], Medorah, [name_f]Milcah[/name_f], Mornilva,

[name_f]Naava[/name_f],
Norcissa (var of Narcissa?)
Norva,

Ophila, Ophilda, [name_f]Orlena[/name_f], Orlessia, Orsella (does it mean bear?) Otilla,

Perletta, Perlettie, Pernolia, Phidelia (sounds botanical but seems to be related to Fidelia), Philinda, [name_f]Pluma[/name_f]

Questina, Questiva, [name_f]Questa[/name_f],

Reffa, [name_f]Roena[/name_f], [name_f]Rumina[/name_f], Ruhema, Ruenna,

Saphina, Sassafrass, Sohila (how interesting), [name_f]Surah[/name_f], [name_f]Sura[/name_f], Suvia

Therina, Tharina, Therezay, Tranquoline, Vionetta ( :icecream:)

Whyla, [name_f]Wilda[/name_f] (nn Wildie - love this)

Zoretha

And then there is Wildgrube. For a second I considered that it was an [name_f]English[/name_f] nature name as in wild grub  A quick Google suggests it’s a [name_m]German[/name_m] word meaning pitfall or a pit for trapping game, PN vilt-groober. A puritanical [name_m]German[/name_m] name or literal word name? It’s listed as a surname so most likely a maiden name given to a daughter?

The most poetic meaning I found for (last name) Wildgrube was ‘dweller by the wild animal’s den’. Wildgrube (as a first) is starting to evoke fearless young woman energy!

Omg, I just suggested Awilda to someone on a thread (not for an actual baby though, it was just for fun) because I really, really liked it. It means ‘elf-battle’ and is of [name_m]German[/name_m] origin.
