Introducing Rachel

So, our sweet little Junebug decided to grace us with her presence a month early! [name]Born[/name] [name]May[/name] 10 is [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Marie[/name], 5 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches, little sister to [name]Laura[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].
She wasn’t named for a few days, though I was pretty sure her first name needed to be [name]Rachel[/name]. We had hemmed and hawed for my whole pregnancy about a girl’s name and hadn’t settled on one before she debuted. I had always thought my girls would be [name]Laura[/name] and [name]Rachel[/name], but when I got pregnant this time I decided I didn’t like [name]Rachel[/name] anymore, so we continued searching. We ended up back at square one, landing on [name]Rachel[/name] in the end, a lot due to one of the articles I read on Nameberry about going with the name you’ve always loved. A lot of the other contenders were more contemporary names, but I felt the sibset of [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Laura[/name] to be perfect in the end. I am so happy with our choice! And thanks to all the berries who provided input! <3

Congratulations on your baby girl! [name]Rachel[/name] is a gorgeous name - I’m a [name]Rachel[/name], and I love my name!

Congrats on the birth of your second girl, [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Marie[/name]. You’re quite right about two things: (1) always choose a name you love and (2) [name]Laura[/name] and [name]Rachel[/name] just seem so natural for sisters!

Perfect! I love both of those names.

Congratulations! I absolutely adore [name]Rachel[/name]–it’s such a pretty Biblical name. [name]Laura[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Marie[/name] make a very sweet duo!

Oh my, as a [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Marie[/name] I must say you picked a fabulous name! I love my name, by the way. It’s classic and I’ve always loved it.
This is also funny to me because my best friend (who is practically my sister as she’s become a part of the family) is named [name]Laura[/name]. So obviously I think [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Laura[/name] are great names and sound wonderful together.

Congratulations!

Congratulations and I agree completely with mischa.

Mazel tov! I’m another [name]Rachel[/name] who loves her name.
