I know little boys named [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] and [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m]. [name_m]Invictus[/name_m], while less known than those 2, is just as usable in my book. I’m also in the states and I just don’t feel like names are a source of teasing anymore because most kids have an out there name in one way or another. My son’s name is Bent0n Gr0ver and at 16 he’s opted to go by his middle name because it’s more unusual. 
I like your reasoning for adding [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. I say go for it.
