[name_f]Irene[/name_f] is my newest name crush… never in a million years would I have imagined I’d love it… So cheers to you wanting to use it!
I personally love the soft [name_m]French[/name_m] pronunciation of [name_f]Irene[/name_f] which is something like EE-HENN (strong "H)… It’s spelled as Irène… Bur EE-[name_u]Red[/name_u]-EE and Eye-Reen are also lovely.
My current combo with it is [name_f]Lilou[/name_f] Irène. I would go with something a bit softer and more girly as the first name.
I think [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is lovely, although I tend to prefer the Russian [name_f]Irina[/name_f] instead (it’s so frilly and ballerina-esque!). I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is a little abrupt, but still nice. From the names you listed, [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] (although, depending on how you say [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], the flow could be really rhymey on this), but I like [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] a lot, too!
I think something like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] “[name_f]Ada[/name_f]” could be nice, since you seem to really be in love with [name_f]Ada[/name_f].
Some combos I’m thinking of:
[name_f]Evanna[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]
[name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] - I say it [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-line … I live in the south though (originally I’m from [name_u]California[/name_u]). I don’t mind the rhyme if people pronounce it as [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-leene.
I do love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and it’s one of the names my husband loves so it’s still on the list. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Irena[/name_f] is a possible variation we could work with but I’m open to other names still.
What about [name_f]Adelia[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] or [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]?
My favorite suggestion are:
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]
[name_f]Sybil[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]
I’m starting to fall in love with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as a first name. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is just perfect to me. Like [name_f]Ada[/name_f] it’s feminine but strong. I have been hesitant with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] because it is a family name on my side by way of [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] but every one calls her [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (grandfathers oldest sister) and if I use [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], I want to be fair and use something on my husbands side.
I know I’ll find something. Hubby doesn’t mind [name_f]Irene[/name_f], says “that’d make mom happy”. So it’s on the list.
I have my top names. In them I’ve paired [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] together, I’ve decided [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] isn’t bad either and then came across [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] and paired the two. [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f].
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] works well. I also like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Irina[/name_f], [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f], and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Irene[/name_f].
I really like [name_f]Irene[/name_f] and I think it goes nicely with some of the names you’ve listed. I especially like it with longer names that end in A like [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. I also think that the [name_u]LYN[/name_u] ending, whatever spelling you prefer, sounds really nice with [name_f]Irene[/name_f] too like [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f]. I think that the longer names just compliment [name_f]Irene[/name_f]'s soft beauty better than a shorter first name but it also depends on the last name too! Personally I really like how it sounds when first and middle names start with a vowel as well so something like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] or [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] sounds gorgeous too. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] something here sparks your interest!
I have an aunt named [name_f]Sandra[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] and a great great grandmother named [name_f]Sannie[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] so I love the name. I think [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] flows weird, and that [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is pretty but almost harsh sounding because they are both blunt names. I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f] is pretty and I love [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Irene[/name_f], but of your list I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_u]Marian[/name_u], [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], [name_f]Luciana[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] paired with [name_f]Irene[/name_f]
