Iris or Eliza?

Curious to hear your thoughts! I’m trying to narrow down my list. These are my top two girl names right now and my boy list is a bit longer. I’m due in [name_f]September[/name_f] and will find out what gender we are having next week. I currently have two daughters, [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (often call her [name_f]Eve[/name_f]).

Which name [name_f]Iris[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]? Considering [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Iris[/name_f] personally, but flower names have always appealed to me.

I prefer [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]

Definitely [name_f]Iris[/name_f].

I adore [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]…and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]/[name_f]Sofia[/name_f]. My vote goes to [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I also love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].

I forgot to mention, she’ll most likely have blonde hair and blue eyes like her parents and sisters. Might help decision!

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]. It has a beautiful flair to it that I don’t see in [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], although I do love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as a name.

I have never been very fond of [name_f]Iris[/name_f], I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]!

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] for sure

I quite like both, but [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] always wins for me. Such a spunky, timeless choice!

Both names are beautiful but the combination that I really liked more was [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] would be amazing as well, [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is kind of dull for me, sorry, but only due to the amount of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]'s and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]'s I know.

Two of my favorite names. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is a long time favorite. It’s a toss up

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I think I’m really surprising my old self and loving [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] best. But if my husband prefers [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], the feedback will help me not feel too disappointed.

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is a namesake name (my middle name) and [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] (a nod to my dad’s middle name [name_f]Valen[/name_f]) feels too long next to [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] for me.

Wait, what about [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Valen[/name_f]? It’s my dads middle name, but NB says it’s a girl’s name. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think my dad would be offended or honored? What do you think of the flow overall name?

[name_u]LOVE[/name_u] both of these names, but I’m leaning toward [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]

I definitely think [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Valen[/name_f] works. You might like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u].

[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] is a great suggestion! I like [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u], too, though to me [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] has a bit better flow.

I personally prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] over [name_f]Iris[/name_f], but both are lovely.

I love both [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] is the prettiest combo in my opinion.
