I also forgot about [name]Gavin[/name] and [name]Owen[/name].
I have both Irish and Scottish heritage, but many of these names are a little blunt for me … also, they sound ordinary to me because I know so many people with those names; I imagine they would work better if you are over in [name]America[/name].
I voted for [name]Colin[/name], because it reminds me of the little boy from The [name]Secret[/name] Garden, and for [name]Connor[/name], which I just love. An interesting point is that conor (one N) is the Latin for ‘try’, and so [name]Connor[/name] has always conjured up for me someone with great perseverance.
Some other accessable Irish/Scottish boys’ names are :
[name]Alasdair[/name]
Alpin
[name]Angus[/name]
[name]Archie[/name]
[name]Artair[/name]
[name]Callum[/name]
[name]Cormac[/name]
[name]Fergus[/name]
[name]Lorcan[/name]
[name]Niven[/name]
[name]Patrick[/name]
[name]Olaf[/name].
