It’s a little long for my taste, but not unusable at all. The flow is great.
If it bothers you, could shorten it with a different name like so:
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Cate[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_u]Clove[/name_u] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
I’m not a fan of two middle names but that’s me. You could do [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] to get to [name_m]ACe[/name_m].
I think if you want to call your daughter [name_m]Ace[/name_m] as a nickname you should. You do not need to validate what you call your children with an extended name you otherwise would not have chosen. Lots of sons are give nicknames without them being short for anything. Lots of Jacks, Trips and Aces, no reason a daughter can’t be [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], aka “[name_m]Ace[/name_m]”.
I think the name looks fine together. You could always just keep [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], and still use “[name_m]Ace[/name_m]” as a nickname.
Another suggestion I do have is what about [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]? That still lets you have the “[name_m]Ace[/name_m]” Initials, but its always up to you.
I think it’s much too long. I like the suggestion of just calling her [name_m]Ace[/name_m], even if that’s not necessarily her initials. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is a good idea as well. A shorter C name might also work:
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Cate[/name_f]
[name_f]Cae[/name_f]
[name_u]Cai[/name_u]
[name_u]Chase[/name_u]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_m]Cole[/name_m]
I think it definitely works! It’s long, but usually she’s only going to go by [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. If you’re worried about the length, though, you can use a shorter name for one of the middles.
I’m not really a fan of two middle names. You seem to like [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] the best. I think a third middle name just makes the name too long. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is beautiful, and [name_m]Ace[/name_m] is a super cute nickname for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] without needing the whole initials thing.
It flows fine together, but three big names together just seems a little excessive. I like PP’s suggestions of [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I would suggest [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]. : )
I’m not sure which country you live in, but in the US, the limit for characters in a middle name on a Social Security card is 16. And for Medicare cards later in life, the limit is 15. If it doesn’t matter to you, you can put middle initials or one of the middle names and a middle initial, but it’s something to keep in mind. The same limits exist for first names.
I think it’s very pretty. I wouldn’t hyphenate; I think it causes more trouble than it’s worth, and her name will be [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] either way.
That being said, I think you could call [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] “[name_m]Ace[/name_m]” without needing the initials there. My name begins with an A and I’ve been called [name_m]Ace[/name_m] even though my name contains no C or S sounds.
I think it’s fine! I would drop the hyphen and use just [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]. Regardless, it’s beautiful, though, and others have given suggestions for something a little bit shorter. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] would also be very pretty, but doesn’t have the same feel, to me.
I don’t like it, it seems way too pretentious and I think your reasoning for it is daft. Call the girl [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] __ and just call her [name_m]Ace[/name_m], don’t go all out with a name you wouldn’t otherwise put together just to get a nickname that may not stick or she may not like.
I think it’s one of the most beautiful names I have encountered in a long while! Since joining Nameberry, I’ve noticed that there are many people who don’t care for long names or extra middles. It’s an under-appreciated practice. I was given two middles and later added a confirmation name – for a total of four given names – and I’ve always loved the fact that I had so many. It may be polished, but it is not extravagant.
I like all three names, but it’s a bit much to be realistically usable. [name_m]How[/name_m] about cutting it down to [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]?
