Is Audrey Jean too much?

I’ve been loving a family name for quite some time now- [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]. But is it too much of the J sound??? Also, any ideas for a second middle name to go with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] (before or after [name_u]Jean[/name_u]!)??

Thanks so much!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is sweet, although I can see what you mean about the J sound. I don’t think it is too much, but here are some suggestions for a second middle:

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Felicia[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Fiora[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is gorgeous, and I don’t find the ‘j’ sound to strong at all.

I second sunshine kid’s suggestion of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] (gorgeous).

Other suggestions –
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Mabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_f]Willa[/name_f]

I think it’s absolutely beautiful.

I love the suggestion of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u].

Why too much? I think it’s lovely.

No, [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is a lovely combination. I really like it.

i’ve always thought [name_u]Jean[/name_u] was such a cute MN & [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is nice too. i hear what you mean – i think with something inbetween the two like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u], something 3-4 syllables with emphasis on the beginning of the name. in my head that sounds good haha.

I keep saying it and I can’t hear any problems. I am a bit confused. There is only one J. I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is beautiful!

I think it sounds fine. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is a friend of mine’s daughter.

My cousin’s name is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]! I think it is super adorable!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is cute. I like the idea of more syllables separating them:

Like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] ( pp suggestions)

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Ellison[/name_u] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]

Meh. I hear what you’re worried about, but I don’t think it’s a bit problem. If you’re too worried, you could add a second middle–like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]. Or you could even use a different feminine form of [name_m]John[/name_m]–[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Joan[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Johanna[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Giovanna[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f]…

I’m gonna be the odd one out and say it clashes. It’s not just the j sounds in a row but the ee sound repeating - AuJrEE JEEn just doesn’t sound good to my ears. I think adding a middle name in between [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Jean[/name_u] would correct the problem perfectly though, and I love [name_u]Ash[/name_u]'s suggestions of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]!

I’m with you. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] has no “j” sound in my accent. For me it’s AW-dree.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is a gorgeous and classy name. It’s been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember. I’ve personally never been fond of [name_u]Jean[/name_u] but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, just nms. I also love the combo [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. It has such a nice sound to it and would be a wonderful choice for you little girl  Good luck!
